Dr. Harris was raised in California. He attended the University of California, Santa Barbara. It was there that he met his wife, Dr. Clarissa Harris. Dr. Harris completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine. Upon completion of dental school, Dr. Harris was accepted to a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, but completed his residency at Broward General Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale through Nova Southeastern University. After completion of his residency, Dr. Harris continued with academics as an adjunct professor at Nova Southeastern University, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Harris maintains a private practice in Wellington and is affiliated with Wellington Regional Hospital.
Drs. Michael and Clarissa Harris are proud parents of two boys and love spending time together. His hobbies include traveling, outdoor sports, and cooking.
Dr. Harris is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (Board Certified).
