Doctor of Dental Surgery
Dr. Theresa originally from the Bay Area in California. Ever since she was a child, she wanted to work in the health field. She went to college at University of California, Davis, graduating with a bachelors of science in Biological Sciences.
After graduating college, she went on a mission trip to Bolivia where she volunteered at a dental clinic, and her interest in dentistry began there, as she saw that this was a way she can help others.
She continued her education receiving her masters in physiology. She eventually went to the University of Pacific School of Dentistry, an accelerated three year program to complete her dental degree. She then completed an advanced general residency in San Francisco California for one year at a community clinic. After finishing her residency, she and her husband moved to Austin, Tx.
When Dr. Chung is not working, she is actively serving at her church, which keeps her very busy! She likes to read at cafes when she is free, and go for walks when the weather is not too warm.
