Dr. Don G. Timpton is the founder and president of Carmel Commons Dental. He is a native New Orleanian who relocated to Charlotte in 1999. He completed his undergraduate studies in Chemistry at Xavier University in New Orleans, La. He graduated from Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, DC in 1988 and later completed extensive post-doctoral  training and certification in General Dentistry Orthodontics and Implant dentistry.

He is an designated Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, a Diplomate in the Academy of Gp Orthodontics, an Associate Fellow in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and actively maintains membership in the American Dental Association, National Dental Association, Academy for Implants and Transplants, Alabama Implant Study Group, A.J. Williams Dental Study Group, Charlotte Medical, Dental and Pharmaceutical Society, and the Charlotte Dental Society.  Dr. Timpton was recently named on the Charlotte City Magazine’s 2008 Top Dentists List.  He served on the CPCC Dental Assistants Advisory Board, and volunteers by providing charitable dental care to local and international undeserved populations.

Dr. Timpton believes it is his life’s calling to practice dentistry and has great passion for providing each patient with meticulous treatment planning and individualized, comprehensive, expert care.

He is married and is the proud father of two daughters. He enjoys traveling, camping, golfing, fishing and is a wonderful cook!

Victoria Eugenia Gonzalez, BDS

Victoria is originally from Bogotá, Colombia. She graduated from Colombian Dental School obtaining her Bachelor in Dental Science and her Master in 1995. She worked as Dentist with the Colombian Army for five years and moved to Charlotte in 2002. Victoria took English classes at CPCC and also got her Radiology Certification, and she has been working as Dental Assistant II for Carmel Commons Dental and Imaging, She has a lot of experience in Orthodontics and Implant Dentistry, working as Clinical Coordinator.

She really enjoy working in Carmel Commons Dental, because she stated that every day she improve as a person and professionally.

Bridgitte Ford Timpton, MPH

Mrs. Timpton is a native of the District of Columbia. She is a graduate at the Madeira School and Howard University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree. She furthers her study in the area of health system management and earned a Master in Public Health from Howard University.

Prior to relocate to Charlotte, she worked in the Mayor’s Office of Health Policy. She worked as a Resident Administrator, Medical Affairs, Finance, Rheumatology, Human Resources, and has worked in the private practices of pediatricians and ophthalmologist.

She lends a wealth of knowledge and experience to our dental team.

She is a devoted wife and mother and treasures her family time. She also is commitment to civic involvement, enjoys tennis and collects angels.
