Dr. Taha Meraj M.D. is a board certified otolaryngologist. He grew up in southeast Michigan and is a graduate of Northville High School. He majored in Brain, Behavior, and Cognitive Science at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor where he received his Bachelor of Science degree with High Distinction. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School. Dr. Meraj completed his residency training in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at Wayne State University in Detroit. Dr. Meraj has authored multiple peer-reviewed research articles and book chapters and has presented his work at local and national research conferences. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Otolaryngologic Allergy, the Michigan Otolaryngologic Society, the Michigan State Medical Society, and the Wayne County Medical Society. Dr. Meraj practices all aspects of adult and pediatric otolaryngology (ENT) including ear and hearing disorders, nose and sinus disorders, swallowing and speech disorders, and sleep disorders. He treats both medical and surgical disorders. He has a special interest in thyroid, parathyroid, and salivary gland surgery as well as reconstructing facial skin cancer defects. Dr. Meraj is an automobile enthusiast. He, when not caring for patients, enjoys visiting state parks and traveling with his family.
