Work History

Upon completion of my doctorate, I served a preceptorship program at the Omaha Surgical Center under the direction of Robert J. Hickman, D.P.M. This was from July 1, 1982 through August 15, 1983. I obtained licensure in the state of Missouri in May of 1983 and Kansas in June of 1983.

Beginning in October 1983, my private practice was located at 11 East Second Street, Suite B, Lee's Summit, Missouri 64063. After 23 years at that address, I relocated my practice in December 2006 to it's current location at 1300 Northeast Windsor Drive, Lee's Summit, Missouri 64086, where I currently continue my general palliative and surgical podiatric practices.

I have obtained podiatric surgical privileges to two area hospitals. These hospitals include Lee's Summit Medical Center and Saint Luke's East Hospital. While in private practice, I continue to fulfill my minimum requirement of 16 hours of continuing medical education each year.

On August 7, 1993, I initially became board certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgeons (ABPS), and I have since recertified with the ABPS in 2002. On March 1, 1994 I became a life long Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. I have continued as a sole proprietor in private practice, since then until present.
