Ariana Ibarra is a professional, compassionate and committed Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-PC) born and raised in South Texas. In 2019, she received her education at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center with a Master's of Science in Nursing. Thereafter, she successfully demonstrated competency to practice as a CPNP-PC by successfully fulfilling the requirements of the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB). Furthermore, she holds a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas-Pan American since 2011, where she graduated Cum Laude as a first generation college student and was an inductee to the Pi Omicron Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
She earned 10 years of pediatric nursing experience by previously leading as a medical-surgical registered nurse, charge nurse and clinical preceptor at Edinburg Children's Hospital. To further enhance her professional growth, she also practiced as a pediatric private duty nurse in the home health setting. Her experience empowers her to continue to provide high-quality, holistic, patient- and family-centered care. She is an active member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) to continuously educate herself on the latest evidence-based information to optimize child and family care. As the mother of a school aged child, her goal is to improve the quality of health care and build trusting relationships to educate patients and their families. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, working out, hiking and traveling.
