Dermatologists
Dr. Douglas Rosen
Dr. Douglas Rosen is a board certified dermatologist practicing in Throggs Neck, New York for the past 30 years and maintains a practice that offers a wide range of services to his much-valued patients. Consistently recognized by the Castle-Connelly physician ranking system as one of the best physicians in New York, Dr. Rosen has served the skin care needs of some of the most discerning patients in the tri-state area.
As a dermatologist whose New York office specializes in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, Dr. Rosen’s expansive practice includes physicians who regularly perform acne treatments, chemical peels, general dermatologic exams, skin cancer screenings, plastic surgery and skin cancer surgery. Additional unique treatments include Botox injections and Juvaderm fillers for wrinkles, Botox for excessive underarm perspiration and the most current laser treatment for psoriasis.
Prior to medical school Dr. Rosen was awarded the Jonas Salk Scholarship for medical study which is one of a few prestigious honors awarded in New York State. He received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine during which he was awarded membership to the national honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. He then did his internship in internal medicine and residency in dermatology at the combined Montefiore-Einstein hospital system and was selected to serve as Chief Resident in dermatology from 1983 -1984. In addition to his robust practice, Dr. Rosen is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Columbia University Medical Center where he oversees resident and medical student teaching in dermatology. Dr. Rosen is also Senior Dermatologist on staff at Westchester Square Hospital.
Dr. Rosen is a member of the Bronx County Medical Society, New York State Medical Society, Westchester Dermatology Society, New York State Dermatology Society, and the American Academy of Dermatology. He is certified by both the American Board of Dermatology and the National Board of Medical Examiners.
Dr. Eugene Whang
Dr. Eugene Whang is a board certified dermatologist who has provided comprehensive skin care at Dermatology and Surgery Associates since 1998. He is on staff as an Assistant Clinical Professor in Dermatology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine as well as Columbia University Medical Center.
Dr. Whang received his medical degree from the George Washington School of Medicine where he was awarded the Alec Horowitz Memorial Fund and was elected to membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha national honor society. After medical school, he completed an internship in internal medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and continued on to residency training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine where he served as chief resident during his final year.
During his training, Dr. Whang has done research at the George Washington School of Medicine as well as the National Institutes of Health and his work has been published in medical journals. He is currently a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and is certified by both the American Board of Dermatology and the National Board of Medical Examiners.
Dr. Louisa Tift
Dr. Louisa Tift has provided comprehensive skin care as a dermatologist at Dermatology and Surgery Associates since 2005. She completed medical school training at New York University School of Medicine and dermatology residency training at New York Medical College. As a board certified dermatologist and member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Dr. Tift provides general and surgical dermatologic care for her patients. Dr. Tift also provides a wide variety of cosmetic procedures including Botox, facial fillers, cosmetic skin growth removal, and chemical peels. She is on staff as an Assistant Clinical Professor in Dermatology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine as well as Columbia University Medical Center.
Mohs Surgeons
Dr. Ingrid Olhoffer
As a Yale trained Fellow of the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery, Dr. Ingrid Olhoffer provides skin cancer surgery to patients at Dermatology and Surgery Associates. She also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Dermatology at New York University where she teaches residents, and holds hospital and academic appointments at the NYU Medical Center.
Dr. Olhoffer received her medical degree and completed residency training in Dermatology at the Yale University School of Medicine. Dedicated to furthering her knowledge, Dr. Olhoffer also completed a fellowship in Advanced Dermatologic Surgery, including Mohs Micrographic Surgery, reconstructive plastic surgery, and cosmetic surgery (lasers, soft tissue fillers, and BOTOX® Cosmetic) at Yale.

Dr. Ira Davis
Dr. Ira Davis has been providing surgical skin cancer care at Dermatology and Surgery Associates since 2002. After graduating from New York University School of Medicine, Dr. Davis completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Bellevue Hospital/NYU Medical Center. He then attended Duke University Medical Center for his dermatology residency. In addition to completing a Mohs and dermatologic surgery fellowship at Wake Forest University Medical Center, he also completed a Dermatopharmacology fellowship at New York University Medical Center. Currently, his practice is limited to Mohs Micrographic surgery and Dermatologic Surgery.
Dr. Davis has been listed in Castle and Connolly's Best Doctors in the New York Metro Area. He is a fellow of the American College of Mohs micrographic surgery, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology.
Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Robert Goldstein
Dr. Robert D. Goldstein graduated with his medical degree in 1977 from Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Pennsylvania State University, Pennsylvania. Dr. Goldstein has been in practice for over 20 years. He is Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and was Director of the Plastic Surgery Division at the Jack D. Weiler Hospital/Montefiore Medical Center from 1989 to 2005. By being on the teaching staff of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Goldstein is an educator of future generations of plastic surgeons. Dr. Goldstein’s experience is extensive in the field of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, including surgery of the hand, face, nose, breast and abdomen. He is the recipient of numerous awards including the Leo M. Davidoff Award and the Montefiore Staff and Alumni Award.
He is the author of 13 articles, 8 book chapters, and over 40 presentations at national and international meetings.
