Gemini 810 + 980 diode laser is dentistry’s first dual wavelength soft tissue laser as well as the most powerful soft tissue laser available to dentists.
Lasers work by delivering energy in the form of light. In dentistry we use them to:
-reduce harmful bacterial levels (laser bacterial reduction)
-reduce the discomfort of canker sores, cold sores, and herpetic ulcers
-Expose partially erupted teeth
-Remove muscle attachments that limit proper movement
-Remove over grown tissues
-Perform biopsy procedures
-Remove inflamed gum tissues and aid in the treatment of gum disease
-Remove or reshape gum and bone tissues during crown lengthening procedures
Laser procedures are more precise. They reduce symptoms, healing time, pain, swelling, and control bleeding during surgery. Anesthesia is less likely to be needed.
Laser treatment for pain management:
PBM adapter allows pain management therapy for TMJ and other discomforts patients may experience. Photobiomodulation (PBM), or low level laser therapy, is absorbed at a cellular level improving local circulation, oxygenation, and enzyme activity improving tissue repair and reducing pain and inflammation.
