Dr. Sangho Byun is an excellent Clinician who is passionate about patient care and an expert in various aspects of restoration of oral health including dental implant restorations, esthetic veneers, crowns and bridges, as well as dentures. He has received his Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana University and Purdue University at Indianapolis and was awarded the Dean’s List. He continued his education at the prestigious Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC for his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree. After his D.D.S. degree, he has furthered his learning in Restorative Sciences through specialty training in Prosthodontics Program at USC.

Prosthodontist is a dentist who has completed dental school plus additional years of advanced training and education in an ADA- accredited prosthodontic graduate program. They specialize in treating and handling dental and facial problems that involve restoring missing tooth and jaw structures. Prosthodontists are considered the leaders of the dental treatment plan. They regularly lead teams of general dentists, specialists, and other health professionals to develop solutions for your dental needs.

During his training, he has become heavily involved in research of removable prostheses and has received training focusing on implant restorations. Following advanced training, he continued to be involved in Academia as the Clinical Assistant Professor and has taken on a role of a Group Practice Director to teach many dental students to become exceptional clinician at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC under Division of Restorative Sciences.

Dr. Byun has served as a Co-Chairman of Hands-on workshop committee of Korean-American Dental Association and Vice President of the Korean–American Dental Association. He is a board-certified Prosthodontist who is compassionate and focuses on patient’s overall well-being in restoring the oral cavity. He is an expert in many restorative procedures with a focus on implant dentistry, esthetic veneers, crowns and bridges, and dentures.

Dr. Byun and his team’s philosophy is to provide exceptional customized treatment for each patient and restore function as well as esthetics in his Pasadena Oral Health Center.

Dr. Jack S. Broussard Jr., D.D.S.

Dr. Broussard is a general dentist practicing in Pasadena. Dr. Broussard is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain.

Dr. Broussard was raised in Altadena. He attended local schools including St. Fancis High School and Pasadena City College. He received his Bachelor in Science degree from the University of San Diego.

Dr. Broussard graduated from UCLA School of Dentistry in 1976. He received training in the diagnosis and treatment of TMD & Orofacial Pain Disorders at the UCLA Orofacial Pain Clinic. He served as a clinical faculty member at UCLA for over 20 years.

In 2002, Broussard received an appointment as an Associate Professor of Clinical Dentistry at the University of Southern California, Ostrow School of Dentistry. From 2002-2006 he served as the G Donald Montgomery Professor in Dentistry and founding Director of the USC Oral Health Center. He currently is an Associate Clinical Professor at the USC Oral Medicine and Orofacial Pain Clinic.

He has been active in organized dentistry for over thirty years, . He is Past-President of the California Dental Association and of the San Gabriel Valley Dental Society. He has served nationally on the American Dental Association (ADA) Commission on Accreditation and the ADA Council of Education. He has served the State of California and in Washington, DC, as a member of many commissions and task forces.

Dr. Broussard has been involved in the study and treatment of TMJ and Orofacial pain disorders for over 25 years. He continues to lecture locally and Internationally on Orofacial Pain Disoders and Practice Management.
