ABOUT DR. YEARGAIN
Ever have that friend growing up who just always knew what he wanted to do with his life? That’s Dr. Joseph Yeargain. From a young age, Dr. Yeargain knew he wanted to work in sports medicine, and he’s currently living out his dream in Dallas, Texas, where he helps patients get back to their highest possible level of performance. Whether you’re a world-class athlete or someone who likes to take a run around the lake on the weekends, Dr. Yeargain provides the same high-quality, patient-oriented care, meant to get you back out there, performing better than ever before.
Dr. Yeargain was born and raised in Texas, receiving his undergraduate degree in biomedical science from Texas A&M. After leaving to study podiatry at the Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in 2003, he went on to perform his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center—one of the top five programs in the country for podiatric medicine—specializing in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. But now he’s back, treating patients in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area at his new private practice located directly across the street from the Baylor University Medical Center, where he is on staff at the academic training center.
Dr. Yeargain treats a wide variety of podiatric conditions, from ingrown toenails to foot and ankle reconstruction, specializing in minimally invasive endoscopic and arthroscopic procedures of the foot, ankle, and lower leg. He prides himself on his years of expertise, as well as his aesthetic sense, believing that cosmetics and functionality go hand-in-hand. Whatever your condition, Dr. Yeargain works hard to make sure you leave his office feeling confident, strong, and ready to get back out there.
My goal is to repair, optimize, and strengthen, so you’re better than you ever were. I want to get you back to what you love."
PERSONAL INTERESTS
Dr. Yeargain loves working with athletes because he’s a bit of an athlete himself. Growing up, he played just about every sport under the sun, and he’s now an avid runner and cyclist, making regular trips to Turtle Creek and White Rock Lake in Dallas. He’s also a bit of a movie and music nerd, seeing as much live music as his schedule will allow. It’s part of what he loves about working in Dallas—the thriving music scene and the great outdoors.
