CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATE

March 25, 2020

To our Patients:

Like all of you, we at Peninsula Gastrointestinal Specialists are very concerned about what we can do to protect ourselves, our families, and our community from the COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) pandemic We are closely monitoring guidelines and would like to inform you about the actions we are taking to prevent spread of the virus.

The building has implemented enhanced routine environmental cleaning procedures throughout the property. This includes enhanced anti-bacterial cleaning solutions.

We remain available for in-person office visits for urgent issues only. Non-urgent office visits are expected to resume in mid-April.

Any team member experiencing symptoms is instructed to stay home. Icases of a patient needing in-office appointment, we are scheduling only one patient at a time to minimize contact.

We have completed an extensive computer upgrade to Windows 10 Pro recommended by Epic to assure that your Electronic Health Records are secure.

Telehealth Appointments are now available. You may call our office for instructions, or go to our website (https://www.mygidoctors.com/new-patients).
