Your appointment will include plenty of time for your physician to understand your needs, evaluate your symptoms and answer any questions you have. Modern technology has enabled doctors to consult patients by using HIPAA compliant video-conferencing tools. The provider’s ability to employ these services may differ based on the patient’s insurance as some private insurers have issued variable guidelines.
