Elaine's Retirement
posted: Oct. 25, 2017.
It is with mixed emotions that I inform our patients that Elaine, my loyal assistant of 20 years, has decided to retire. Elaine has been my right hand over the years. She would always be there for not only myself but also our patients throughout all procedures whether it be difficult or straightforward. She was able to ease anxious patients by offering a comforting hand to hold during their visit. Elaine knew what my next move would be without saying a word during a procedure, it was like we had ESP between us. As a team, we were like a well-oiled machine. She kept us organized and running on time. We will all miss her dearly, especially myself.
Elaine and her husband will be moving to Nova Scotia where we wish them all the best for the next stage of their lives. While I am happy for both of them, I am sad for losing a loyal and trusted employee and friend.
Bonne Chance.
