Dr. Nilay Patel is a NJ native born in Jersey city and raised throughout the state. Dr Patel was accepted into a 7 year accelerated BS/DMD program through Fairleigh Dickenson University and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2011 and has since been expanding his dental knowledge with numerous post graduate programs including a 1 year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery internship which he completed in 2012 from UMDNJ. Dr. Patel has also served our country as a Captain in the New Jersey National Guard for over 8 years and had the pleasure of meeting and treating thousands of service members during his tenure. Understanding that Dentistry is an ever changing field, Dr. Patel has made a commitment to learning the latest technologies and procedures that have revolutionized the field and has certifications in Invisalign, Cerec CAD/CAM, and Implant placement procedures. In his spare time Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with his family and friends, cooking, and staying active by going to the gym or enjoying a nice hike/run outdoors.
