Jeannie Lewis is a Certified Physician Assistant who has joined our practice in 2019. Jeannie is a native Tennessean and received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Memphis in 2005. She then completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas in 2009. Jeannie is licensed by the State of Tennessee as a Physician Assistant and is certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, the American Association of Physician Assistants, and the Memphis Dermatology Society.
Jeannie practiced as a dermatology physician assistant becoming specialized and trained in a variety of dermatological subjects including medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology in Southaven, Mississippi and in Humboldt, Tennessee with board certified dermatologists and a MOHs surgeon for nearly six years before she decided to become a stay at home mother to her two daughters for four years. She enjoys practicing dermatology and caring for patients by providing treatment and education about many dermatological disorders with a special interest in contact dermatitis and skin cancer prevention.
Jeannie is married to Matt, a native to the Jackson, Tennessee area and a partial owner of a medical manufacturing company in Bartlett, Tennessee. They are proud parents of two daughters Ainsley and Adelynn. Jeannie enjoys spending quality time with her family while traveling and in the outdoors.
