After working in the healthcare field with patients who suffer chronic, sometimes debilitating pain, I decided to go back to school and continue my education. I chose a Therapeutic Massage program because I've experienced the effectiveness of massage at relieving chronic pain, and I'm ready to put my skills to work for you.
Soft tissue therapies can help patients avoid surgery and other invasive interventions; they can also help relieve chronic or acute pain and lessen a patient's need for medication.
Whether you're suffering a recent injury or a chronic condition, massage can help. The techniques I use go beyond Swedish massage which is designed for relaxation. I utilize multiple manual therapies in my practice such as myofascial stretching, Trigger Point therapy, deep-tissue massage, and range of motion techniques including PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation), stretching, and positional release.
