In 2010, Dr. Jackson was 1 of only 3 Illinois dentists awarded Fellowship in The Academy of General Dentistry at that year's national meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana.
As of 2010, fewer than 15,000 dentists worldwide had ever earned their Fellowship in the organization. To earn a Fellowship, a member dentist must complete a minimum of 500 approved continuing dental education hours and pass comprehensive 250 question examination. Once inducted, a Fellow in good standing is authorized to use the letters “FAGD” after his/her name.
If the Fellow goes on to achieve Mastership status in the Academy, the “FAGD” designation is replaced with “MAGD.” For more information about the AGD Fellowship award, please click HERE.
