Biography:

Robert S. DiBacco, M.D. was born in West Virginia and raised in the small mountain town of Thomas. He attended St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School and Mountaineer High School graduating as Salutatorian. He attended the University of Dayton, graduating cum laude with a B.S. in Premedicine. Thereafter, he attended West Virginia University School of Medicine, graduating with a Doctor of Medicine degree. During Medical school, he received additional training at Boston University Medical School and the University Of California San Francisco School Of Medicine.

After medical school, Dr. DiBacco completed a three year residency in Internal Medicine at Hartford Hospital in Connecticut. After completing an elective course in Dermatology at Yale University during his medical residency, Dr. DiBacco discovered his strong interest in problems of the skin. He applied and was accepted into a combined residency in Dermatology at Louisiana State University and Tulane University in New Orleans, offered at Charity Hospital. He spent three years of training. He was honored with the Louisiana Dermatological Society’s annual Peterkin Award for outstanding resident research project.

Dr. DiBacco began the private practice of Dermatology with offices in Lake Worth and Pompano Beach, Florida, but consolidated his practice to a single location in Lake Worth.

Dr. DiBacco is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Dermatology, but limits his practice to Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. He is a member of the medical staff at JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, Florida. He is past president of the Palm Beach County Society of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery, a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and is a member of the Florida Society of Dermatology and the Florida Society of Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. DiBacco is the author of one publication.

Dr. DiBacco’s services include all problems of the skin, hair, nails and also cosmetic services such as Botox, fillers, and chemical peels.

I have been a patient of Dr. DiBacco’s for about sixteen years. On my first visit I told him that I was treated for a melanoma when I lived in Michigan. On each visit he does a complete examination of my body. He doesn’t miss a thing. He has found four other melanoma’s that have appeared and treated before they got enlarged.
