Welcome to Our Practice
What's New
To the Future and Beyond…
I am pleased and excited to announce that as of October 16th, 2021, University Pediatric Associates’ physicians will begin practicing as part of Somerset Pediatric Group. Practically speaking, the transition is expected to be as seamless as possible. Patients and their families will still be able to be seen by their providers at the office of their choosing, including the current Highland Park and East Brunswick locations. You can still reach the office with the same phone numbers as in the past, and your medical records will continue to be maintained by Somerset Pediatric Group.
On a personal note, I am retiring from clinical medicine after 36 years at the practice. My wife and I have moved to Vermont where we are starting a new chapter in our lives: living close to the land, pursuing interests that we’ve put on hold for decades, and turning some of our attentions to endeavors in public health for both adults and children. I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to my patients and their families over the many years who have honored and enriched me by allowing me to participate in their care. I have learned from you all the power of your optimistic attitudes, determination, and sacrifices you make to keep your children healthy and on a positive trajectory. Over the last several years, it has been especially gratifying to see second generations of families, that I’ve cared for when I started over three decades ago, coming back to the practice.
I also want to thank my colleagues and staff for their years of hard work, their dedication to practicing evidence based, quality pediatric medicine, and their compassion for those they have cared for. With this new transition to Somerset Pediatric Group, I am heartened to know that former University Pediatric Associates' patients and their families will continue to be in good hands for many years to come.
Best of wishes to you all,
Elliot Rubin, MD, FAAP
