We also offer the most comprehensive healthy hearing package, which includes quarterly cleanings and checks; bi-annual audiometric screenings and reprogramming of devices; and a three year repair and loss and damage warranty.

  • Kira S. VonBlon
    , M.S., CCC-A
    Director of Audiology

    Kira VonBlon, M.S., CCC-A is a certified audiologist and has practiced Audiology since 1999. Kira received her Master’s Degree in Audiology from Miami University of Ohio. Before joining Total Hearing Solutions in 2006, Kira worked as an Audiologist in hospital and outpatient rehabilitation settings. Kira became the Director of Audiology at Total Hearing Solutions in 2011 and continues to work as the Director of Total Hearing Solutions as well as a Staff Audiologist. Kira enjoys watching her patients reconnect with family, friends and activities they love with their new hearing abilities. Kira is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

  • Adam Kanzler
    Audiology Assistant

    Adam Kanzler is the Audiology Assistant for Total Hearing Solutions and is licensed by the State of IN as a Hearing Instrument Specialist. He sees patients for hearing aid sales, service and programming needs. He can also clean, and repair hearing aids from every major manufacturer. He assists patients daily in the use, care, and maintenance of their hearing aids. Adam is always happy to help users gain maximum benefit and success from their hearing aids in whatever way he can.

 

Physician Staff

  • Scott A. Hackett
    , M.D.

    Physician peers have named him a top ear, nose and throat specialist in Indianapolis Monthly’s surveys by independent researchers Castle Connolly Medical Ltd.

    Dr. Hackett also serves on the board of Naab Road Surgery Center. He is a past president of the department of otolaryngology – head and neck surgery at St. Vincent Hospital. Active in patient care and medical education, Dr. Hackett has been named “Specialty Teacher of the Year” twice by St. Vincent Hospital family medicine residents. He has trained residents in this program since 1991.

    He graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine with highest distinction. The doctor also completed specialty training in otolaryngology – head and neck surgery in Indianapolis.

    Dr. Hackett is a fellow in the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.

    He is a member of the Indiana State Medical Association and Central Indiana Otolaryngology Society. Dr. Hackett is also an associate member of the Radiological Society of North America.

    The ear, nose and throat specialist sees patients of all ages with diseases and disorders of the head and neck. Special interests include minimally invasive treatment of parathyroid and sinus disorders; thyroid surgery; voice problems and pediatric diseases.

    Dr. Hackett and his wife Tricia have two children, Stephanie and Emerson. Mrs. Hackett is a member of the school board for Carmel Clay Schools.

  • Robert A. Youkilis
    , M.D.

    Dr. Robert Youkilis joined Northside ENT in 1999 after completing his residency in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine. Prior to that, he received his MD at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine (1994) and a BS degree at Duke University (1989).

    He has served as past chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology at St. Vincent Hospital. He has also served on the Board of managers at the Carmel Ambulatory Surgery Center and the Carmel Specialty Surgery Center. He has been a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery as well as the Central Indiana Otolaryngology Society.

    Physician peers have repeatedly named him a top ear, nose and throat specialist in Indianapolis Monthly’s surveys by independent researchers Castle Connolly Medical Ltd.

    His special interests include the treatment of complex sinus disease, conditions of the thyroid and parathyroid glands, voice problems, pediatric ear, nose, and throat disorders, snoring and sleep apnea. He is also very interested in the management of allergies.

    Dr. Youkilis and his wife, Tina, have 3 sons that keep them both busy with sports activities, especially hockey. When not at the ice rink, they enjoy tennis, snow skiing, and water sports.

  • Jeffrey C. Beach

    A board certified otolaryngologist, has been associated with Northside ENT since 2003.

    He received his undergraduate degree in Microbiology from the Ohio State University and earned his degree at the University Of Cincinnati College Of Medicine. Dr. Beach completed his specialty training in Otolaryngology at the Indiana University Medical Center and Riley Hospital in 2003 and is board certified by the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.

    Dr. Beach was certified in Advanced Allergy by the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, in December 2010. He became a member of the Pan American Allergy Society in 2013.

    He is a member of the Indiana State Medical Association and Central Indiana Otolaryngology Society. Dr. Beach is also an associate member of the Radiological Society of North America.

    Dr. Beach sees pediatric and adult patients and his professional interests include sublingual therapy, allergy, sinus disease, disorders of the thyroid/parathyroid glands, salivary gland tumors and obstructive sleep apnea.

    His wife Elizabeth Beach, M.D., is a pediatrician. They have three children, Jacob, Tressa and Kyle.

  • Seth D. Bruggers
    , M.D.

    Dr. Seth D. Bruggers, M.D. is a board certified otolaryngologist and joined our practice in 2011.

    He graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed his internship and residency in otolaryngology – head & neck surgery at Saint Louis University Hospital. He is a CLIA certified Lab Director.

    Dr. Bruggers sees pediatric and adult patients, and enjoys the full range of otolaryngology, especially voice disorders, conditions of the thyroid and parathyroid glands, and reconstructive surgery of the head & neck. He has published several articles on endoscopic sinus surgery and has presented at state and national meetings.

    His wife, Rebecca, is a physician assistant in orthopedic surgery. They enjoy spending time with their two sets of twins.
