Meet the Doctors

Dr. Gila Marciano

Dr. Gila Marciano graduated magma cum laude with a BA in Biochemistry from Hunter College before graduating from Stony Brook Dental School with honors and earning a degree in Dental Surgery . She completed a general Practice Residency at The Bronx VA, Mount Sinai where she gained extensive experience in complex restorative dentistry and the field of Endodontics. She is a member of the American Dental Association as well as the New Jersey State Dental Association and the Middlesex County Dental Association. Gila is noted for her efficiency and light touch. She is well aware of the anxieties that dental care can bring on and aims to create a calm environment for her patients. During her spare time, Dr. Marciano loves to travel, read historical fiction and bake. She’s on a constant quest for the perfect babka. She and her husband Zalmy, a pediatric anesthesiologist, both grew up in Monsey and now reside in Edison, NJ with their three daughters.


Dr. Shlomit Schwalb

Dr. Shlomit Schwalb graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. from Yeshiva University, and an M.A. in Biotechnology from Columbia University, before earning her D.D.S. from the New York University College of Dentistry. She completed her residency at Lincoln Hospital, a heavy trauma center, and a two year dental implant fellowship at New York University. She is currently a member of both the American Dental Association and the New York State Dental Association. Precision and warmth are the two hallmarks of Dr. Schwalb's style. She cares deeply for each of her patients, and constantly strives for perfection. Outside of the office, Dr. Schwalb loves to travel and try new things. She spent a year living in London, England, where she taught A-Level STEM courses; she is an alumnus of the Sea Island chapter of Habitat for Humanity in Charleston, South Carolina; and she currently resides in New Jersey with her husband and four kids.
