Thank you for you service - It is our honor and privilege to serve you!

Through a decade of treating Veterans as a Triwest in-network Chiropractor, Dr. Rivera has a great understanding of the unique health challenges faced by veterans after years of service. Dr. Rivera offers specialized chiropractic treatments that focus on improving the overall physical and mental well-being of our veteran patients.

The Benefits of Chiropractic Care for Veterans

Chiropractic care is a non-invasive, hands-on health care discipline that focuses on the musculoskeletal system. Veterans, who often face chronic back pain, joint pain, and headaches due to the physical demands of military service, can find significant relief through chiropractic adjustments. Chiropractic Adjustments can help alleviate pain, enhance mobility, and improve quality of life for our Veteran patients.

Veteran patients under our care, have reported a great variety of  improvements and health benefits. One veteran, who suffered from chronic lower back pain due to years of military service, experienced significant relief after just a few sessions; his ability to walk longer distances without pain greatly enhanced his overall well-being. Another veteran found substantial relief from recurring headaches through cervical adjustments and therapeutic massage, techniques frequently used in our clinic to alleviate tension and improve circulation. Other veterans have shared feedback about overall improvements in their health, which they feel have positively impacted their general well-being.

How Veterans Can Access Chiropractic Care with Dr. Matt Rivera

  1. Let us know if you have any questions regarding Chiropractic care or treatments
  2. Contact your Primary care provider at the VA and ask for a referral for chiropractic care . Specify that you would like to see Dr. Matthew Rivera at Rivera Chiropractic Group.

(if you know you have approved visits but have not been contacted by our office, please call us directly as this would mean we have not received your authorization from the VA.)
  4. During your first visit, Dr. Rivera will conduct a comprehensive assessment to tailor a treatment plan specific to your needs. This plan may include an Xray at our office, spinal adjustments, therapeutic exercises, and lifestyle advice to help manage and address your specific needs.
  5. Ongoing Care: Generally an initial authorization from the VA includes 12 visits spread over a few months time. Depending on your specific condition and progress, Dr. Rivera will recommend the frequency of visits for optimal results.
