For over 8 years, I have had to temper my smile in public due to missing teeth, and eating was a bit hard as well. It was embarrassing when it came time for photos with family, too.
Dr Hertz changed all that for me. After a few painless visits, I had my smile back. He took the time to make sure the new teeth matched perfectly and were inconspicuous. He never asked me how they looked to me until he was satisfied with how they looked to him. He made sure I was comfortable during the entire process, and there was always a follow-up call to make sure I had no issues later on.
His office is full of state-of-the-art technology, and the music is good too! I’d highly recommend Dr. Hertz to anyone!

When I first went to Dr. Hertz I was a “dental cripple”. The difference between Dr. Hertz and other dentists is quality and caring. Not only did he get things done right, quickly and painlessly but he showed that he cared for my health and my economic situation. I would highly recommend this dentist to anyone. Additionally I would say “Don’t wait”. Don’t make the same mistakes I did and wait to get started. Dental work doesn’t get easier or less expensive with time. When my family moved to Riverdale in 2000 and needed a local dentist, a friendly neighbor recommended Dr. Paul Hertz. Since that time we have made the same recommendation several times to other friends, and always with confidence. My family has come to depend on Dr. Hertz for both continuing care and those painful emergencies. What has always struck me about him is that he loves what he does, and he does it with such great skill. It seems that each time I’m I the office there is some new piece of dental technology he has added- in addition to those he has developed himself. Nobody enjoys going to the dentist, but the fact is that Dr. Hertz and his staff make the entire process as painless- literally and figuratively- as possible.

His skill level is tremendous. His knowledge and treatment planning is exquisite and thorough. He honestly has his patients' best interest in mind, which is quite often lacking in this business. For years I have told you and anyone that will listen o me, that if all my doctors were as good, caring and knowledgeable as you I would be a happier and healthier person today.

I keep saying you are the greatest but let me tell you why I feel this way.
For starters, you have a marvelous combination of a soft hand and there is that fine artist in you, which makes your work as painless as possible and very exact. Until I came to your office crowns always felt tight, and I had to get used to the uncomfortable feeling-not knowing that is was throwing my bite out of line.
You are professional, yet sensitive and compassionate; your fees are very fair, and although you have a very busy practice you schedule and honor your appointments so that one never has to wait endlessly in your office; I am not even going into the very special job you did with Matthew.
You also smile-making one feel comfortable. So what more can be asked of a dentist? Yes, one more thing can be asked and that is that things go well for you and your family and you continue your very fine work.
