Meet Our Dentists

Dr. Young Park, DDS, FAGD, FICOI

Since graduating from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry , Dr. Park has been practicing in Roanoke, VA. Prior to his decision to become a dentist, he was a mechanical engineer at Samsung Electronics for several years. As mechanical engineering and dentistry have many common aspects, his mechanical engineering background has enabled Dr. Park to meet daily challenges in dentistry with uniquely integrated and creative approaches.

Dr. Park finds great satisfaction and enjoyment in providing excellent care for his patients in all areas of general dentistry and is dedicated to continually learning new techniques in dentistry for his patients' benefit. In furtherance of this goal, Dr. Park has invested in excess of 150 hours yearly in continuing education. As a result of his tenacious pursuit of knowledge and cutting edge techniques, Dr. Park is better able to provide customized state of the art treatment for each of his patients.

Currently, Dr. Park holds active memberships within the American Dental Association (ADA), the Virginia Dental Association (VDA), the Piedmont Dental Society, American Academy of General Dentistry (AGD),  International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI),

Dr. Park is a fellow of American Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) that has been recognized by other general dentists as a leader and exemplifies to other dentists the importance of quality continuing dental education. This fellowship can be awarded to dentists who have completed over 500 hours of continuing education and have passed the fellowship exam by Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Park is also a fellow of International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI) and takes many different types of courses to be updated in implant dentistry.

Dr. Park resides in Botetourt County with his wife, Sun, and two kids, Lynn and Ian. He enjoys hiking, biking, reading Christian books, and travelling with his family.

Dr. Hanna A. Varno, DDS

Dr. Hanna Varno became passionate about dentistry at an early age because she knew that dentists can make a difference in someone’s life. Her favorite part of being a dentist is getting to know her patients and focus on building long-term relationships. Dr. Varno received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from VCU School of Dentistry. Following dental school, she practiced in Richmond for a few years before relocating to Rocky Mount with her husband, Alex. She stays current with continuing dental education classes and best practices. Outside of the office, Dr. Varno is found spending time with her husband, family and friends. She enjoys being outdoors going on walks, hiking, traveling and playing with her dog, Booba.
