Dr. Silvia M. Robalino
Dr. Silvia M. Robalino is a board certified physician in Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association and a member of Prime Health Physicians, established in 2013.
She is originally from Ecuador and moved to the United States 30 years ago to pursue her carrier in medicine. She is a mother of a daughter and active participant in the school.
Dr. Robalino received her undergraduate education from Saint Thomas University in Houston, Texas with a Bachelor’s in Biology. She earned her medical degree with honors at the Universidad de Ciencias Medicas de Centro America (UCIMED) in Costa Rica. She completed her internship and residency program in internal medicine at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Jamaica, New York.
After completing her residency program, Dr. Robalino relocated to Cleveland, Ohio and became an active staff member at University Hospitals of Cleveland where she practiced in the outpatient setting. She then moved to Miami, Florida where she was named Medical Director of Ambert Medical Care Center. Looking for better opportunities, she later worked at the Medical Group of South Miami and was an active affiliate at Baptist Hospital and South Miami Hospital. Presently, Dr. Robalino started her own private practice in Coconut Groove, Florida and now is an active affiliate at Mercy Hospital .
Dr. Robalino specializes in the adult primary care and preventive medicine. Her expertise includes, but is not limited to preventive services, healthcare screening, diagnosis, management and treatment of acute and chronic conditions such as the common cold, urinary infections, hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and osteoarthritis, among others.
Some of her outpatient procedures are trigger point injections, joint steroid injections, Papanicolaou smear, laboratory services, and others.
