We just past winter solstice. What that always reminds me of is the countdown to the end of the year. In non-Florida times this was a cold and dreary long period of darkness. In Florida it is not dreary and not cold but it is dark just before the days get longer. No matter what you try to do to change nature, it is amazing how the world still functions despite human meddling. Wishing us all a wonderful new start to the year filled with new beginnings.
