What to expect
Being well-prepared for your appointment will ensure that our dental team
will have all of the necessary information to provide the best possible care
for you.
Please arrive 15-20 minutes before your appointed time in order to fill out the New Patient Dental and Medical History forms (unless filled out prior to 1st visit). Arriving early will also allow you plenty of time to ask questions concerning your dental healthcare and to get to know the staff.
Your first visit will include a full series of x-rays which will be used to determine your current oral health status and to detect any decay on or between the teeth, an oral cancer screening, inspection of existing dental work, and evaluation of the health of the gums lining the teeth. If you have had any bitewing x-rays taken in the 6 month period prior to your visit, or had a full mouth series of x-rays/panoramic x-ray taken in the last 3 years, you may bring these with you in order to avoid new x-rays being taken.
