Dr. Valeria Fomitcheva moved to Baltimore from Ottawa, Ontario, to complete her Internal Medicine residency at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. During her stay here she formed a strong sense of connection with the community and decided to continue growing her primary care practice here, in the greater Baltimore area.
Dr. Fomitcheva is an Internal Medicine physician specializing in prevention of chronic illness, diagnosis and treatment of acute illness and chronic illness, age related screening and specialist referral. She is dedicated to educating her patients on health maintenance and prevention of chronic medical conditions. Her medical interests include nutrition, physical exercise, and mental health.
On a personal note, Dr. Fomitcheva enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and chocolate Labrador Retriever named Hudson. She is a passionate skier, mountain biker and tennis player…although exclusively on a recreational level!
