Patrick R. Magner, DMD

Dr. Patrick MagnerDr. Patrick Magner received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry where he was awarded the Frances Best Watkins Award in recognition of outstanding leadership skills and excellent academic standing, the Dr. Gerson Gould and Mr. Sol. H. Gould Memorial Scholarship, and the Dr. Marshall W. Milnarik Scholarship, both in recognition of clinical and academic excellence.

In addition to seeing patients for their oral health needs, Dr. Patrick held a faculty appointment as a Clinical Instructor at the UIC College of Dentistry and taught weekend courses with the Illinois State Dental Society. He is actively involved in the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Association, and the Chicago Dental Society, where he previously served as the President of the Academic Chapter. Dr. Patrick meets monthly with a group of dentists and dental specialists to further his dental training as a member of Spear Study Club. 

Dr. Patrick graduated with a degree in psychology from Dominican University in River Forest, IL. He is a proud AmeriCorps alumnus having spent a year in full time service with City Year as a tutor on Chicago's West Side. He grew up right here in Northbrook and is grateful for the wonderful education he received at Westmoor Elementary, Northbrook Junior High and Glenbrook North High School.

He looks forward to building positive relationships with patients here at Holohan Dental Professionals.  When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Patrick is a member of the Shannon Rovers Irish Pipe Band. He lives nearby with his wonderful wife Bridget and two young sons.
