Cutera Excel V Laser

The Cutera Excel V laser is a new approach to treating vascular and benign pigmented conditions with amazing results and no downtime!

Now men and women alike are making unsightly facial veins and pigmented conditions a thing of the past.  With the most advanced technology, the Excel V laser can safely and effectively treat a wide range of conditions among men and women of all skin tones.

Many skin conditions manifest in the form of broken or abnormal blood vessels in the skin, as is the case with rosacea, in which the facial blood vessels dilate excessively causing redness and flushing. The Excel V laser treats these vascular conditions by administering a unique high power green laser that is absorbed by the abnormal vessels causing the vein walls to collapse and seal shut.  Over time, these vessels will no longer be visible.

The Cutera Excel V Laser has been shown effective at treating the following conditions:

  • Rosacea (Red Face)
  • Telangiectasias (Spider Veins)
  • Cherry Angiomas
  • Broken Blood Vessels
  • Chronic Sun Damage
  • Brown Spots
  • Venous Lakes

Once you schedule a consultation, our doctor will determine if treatment with the Cutera Excel V laser is appropriate.  If so, depending on the condition she is treating, the doctor will pass the Excel V handpiece over the affected areas of the skin until the abnormal vessels or lesions diminish. To minimize discomfort and to protect your skin, the Cutera Excel V uses a proprietary cooling mechanism.

In most cases, our doctors will perform the procedure on the same day as your consultation!

These laser treatments are affordable and the results are well worth the small investment of between $200 and $500 per session.  The exact cost of treatment varies depending on the size of the area and the condition being treated.
