New Addition: Dr. Ethan Knowlton

We are very pleased to announce a new addition to our team: Dr. Ethan Knowlton has joined Kansas City Foot and Ankle!

Early Years

Dr. Knowlton grew up in the Chicagoland suburbs in a large family with four boys.  Chaos was the norm in the Knowlton home!  Growing up, Dr. Knowlton had an Uncle who suffered from Diabetes, as well as a brother with health concerns. These experiences inspired him to seek a career in medicine, where he could give back to his community.  Podiatry interested him because when your feet hurt, it affects all aspect of your life.  He takes great pride and satisfaction in being able to diagnose a patients’ ailment and be able to provide relief.  He finds it very rewarding to help people get back to their daily activities and enjoy life again!

Education

Dr. Knowlton graduated from North Central College where he earned a BS degree in Biology. He then went on to earn his doctorate from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine.  Dr. Knowlton furthered his education in New England, completing a three-year surgical residency at St. Vincent Hospital and UMass.

Medical Center. His extensive training involved both surgical and conservative management of foot and ankle ailments, with a focus on sports medicine, wound care, trauma, and reconstructive procedures.

A Great Fit

Dr. Knowlton is a down to earth person who has a wonderful sense of humor and loves to laugh.  He also enjoys the great outdoors.  Hiking rates among one of his favorite activities.  He is a total foodie and will try anything at least once, however BBQ and pizza own a piece of his heart.  A dog guy at heart, he now has two cats as they fit into a busy physician’s life very well!

Settled into his new city, Dr. Knowlton is excited to exercise his extensive training in both conservative and surgical management of foot and ankle ailments.  He is ready to help you get back to the activities you love, whether it’s taking a walk with your grandchildren, or running that next marathon!  Dr. Knowlton will be seeing patients in our North and South offices and is a fantastic, enthusiastic addition to our team.
