Dr. Leslie Hargis chose the dental field as it is “the perfect balance of serving others, art, and science.” Dr. Gerald Hargis practiced dentistry in downtown Burlington since 1979. Leslie is thrilled to carry on the family practice and share this professional experience working alongside him. She greatly values the family tradition of treating and serving the community for another 30 years!
Dr. Hargis is a native of Burlington, NC. In 2010, she graduated from UNC’s Dental Hygiene program. She continued her studies at the UNC School of Dentistry, graduating in 2017 with her Doctorate in Dental Science. In 2018, she completed a Geriatric Fellowship, a collaborative research project between the UNC Schools of Medicine and Dentistry based on delivering advanced care planning and advanced directives to patients and families. Dr. Hargis is especially passionate about treating the senior population as this area requires great treatment. When she isn’t working, Dr. Hargis enjoys traveling with her high school sweetheart and husband of 12 years, Ryan Fuller. They have two pets together, a Shih-Tzu Rylie, and a Tabby Cat, Winifred. She has two beautiful boys that she loves to spend time with, Zech and Noah. Dr. Hargis-Fuller is very passionate about her faith in Jesus Christ, nature, and her love for animals. She gives all glory and thanks to God and looks forward to the journey ahead at Hargis Family Dentistry!
