Meet our team!

I have always been interested in science, technology, and the arts. Weave these pursuits together with the enjoyment of improving a person’s smile, comfort, and well-being, and then you have what dentistry means to me. I feel privileged to carry on this tradition starting with my grandfather in Cloquet. Having graduated from St Olaf College with a degree in chemistry, I then received my doctorate in dental surgery from the University of Minnesota in 1993. Cloquet is my hometown and I certainly appreciate the region with all the outdoor activities it provides. I am active in Nordic skiing, road/gravel biking, canoe trips, hiking/backpacking, tennis, golf, traveling, and I especially like the arts and music. My wife and I have two sons, one I'm honored to say has joined our dental practice and the other I'm equally proud of in medicine. We take advantage of family time whenever we can with them and their wives. I enjoy getting to know people and hope I’ll have the opportunity to get to know you too while serving your dental needs in whichever direction that takes you.
I am grateful for the opportunity to practice dentistry in my hometown of Cloquet and to carry on the tradition of serving our community alongside my dad. As a fourth-generation dentist, I’m proud to continue my family’s legacy of providing compassionate care. After completing my undergraduate studies in Biology at Gustavus Adolphus College, I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota. Returning home felt like the right step, and I look forward to continuing to provide high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals and families of all ages. I enjoy all aspects of general dentistry, with a focus on patient education, practical solutions, and helping people feel comfortable in the dental chair.
Cloquet and the surrounding region hold a special place in my heart, especially for the many opportunities to be active outdoors. My wife, Jami, and I enjoy biking, skiing, running, and playing tennis, as well as spending time cooking and experimenting with new recipes together. Staying active and creative outside of work helps me bring energy and balance to my practice. I am committed to building lasting relationships and look forward to earning the trust of my patients while helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles.
I have been with Tomhave Dental since the 1900's. Over the years I have held many jobs and am currently the office manager/bookkeeper. I am widowed with two grown daughters and when I am away from my favorite job, I enjoy time with friends, family, and outdoor activities.
I have worked the front desk since 2011. I am married and have two daughters, a Great Dane 'Molly', and a cat 'Mikko." I enjoy watching my daughters play sports and spending time with my family.
I have 20 years of experience being a receptionist. I enjoy biking, kayaking, and long walks. Family and friends are everything. I spend time cheering on my significant other and supporting my nieces and nephews. Cheering louder than anyone. I am always ready for a fun filled day of laughter. I enjoy making homemade candles and DIY projects. And of course, enjoying a good hallmark movie marathon.
I love running races (5ks and Grandma’s), camping, and spending time with family. I grew up in Cloquet and graduated from hygiene in 2008. I have worked in private practice for a cumulative 9.5 years with an additional 5 years of orthodontic experience. I enjoy attending my twin boys’ sports in Cloquet baseball and football.
My favorite thing to do is spend time with my husband and three children. If you can't find me at a local hockey rink, ballfield, or gym, you will find me at our cabin on Prairie Lake. I graduated from dental hygiene school in 2007 and feel lucky to work with such a great team.
I've been a dental hygienist since 2006, practicing throughout the Twin Cities and up north. I currently live in the woods with my husband, daughter, and son. Outside of work, I love watching sports - cheering on my kids in volleyball, basketball, and football, or attending college games.
I love spending time with my husband and our kids. I enjoy taking pictures of our fun adventures and making scrapbooks.
The lake is my happy place. I enjoy spending time with family, friends, pontooning, kayaking, and fishing. I have enjoyed working at Tomhave Dental since 1988.

I have recently started with Tomhave Dental and am very happy to be working with a great group of friends. I enjoy traveling (usually to Disney World), camping, hanging out with family, friends, and my Chorkie, Charlie.
I have been a dental assistant since 2022 and a lifelong patient here at Tomhave Dental. When I'm not in the office, I love to spend time at home and with family. In my free time I like to paint, read, tend to my flowers, and take long naps.

My main career was a surgical technician for 38 years. I am now fortunate enough to be able to work here at Tomhave Dental with a team of great people. I enjoy spending time with friends and family whenever possible. I like working on puzzles and also love to go agate hunting. I enjoy traveling, sitting around a nice campfire, and I love to get together with my group of ladies at the cabin on the lake.
