Dental Staff

Joseph Strong, DDS

Dr. Joe graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1988.  Dr. Joe has always known he wanted to be a dentist and is still passionate about helping and treating his patients.  He and his wife Meredith reside in Ontonagon and are active in many community organizations.  In his free time he enjoys golfing, attending Packer games, refereeing, and all things sports.

Meredith – Office Manager

Meredith graduation from the University of Michigan and received her Master’s Degree from Michigan Tech University. 

Jamie – Registered Dental Hygienist

Jamie began in the dental field in 1999.  She is a 2004 graduate of Waukesha County Technical College.  She has been a part of our practice since 2006.  She resides in Ontonagon with her husband and two children.  In her free time she enjoys visiting with family and friends, spending time on Lake Superior, and enjoying her children.      

Brittany – Registered Dental Hygienist

Brittany is a 2015 graduate of Northcentral Technical College in Wausau.  She joined our practice shortly thereafter.  She is newly married and she and her husband have recently completed building their new house in Ontonagon.  In her free time she enjoys sports, snowmobiling, and riding horses.  She is also busy coaching the Ontonagon Gladiator Varsity Boys Basketball.

Cindy – Scheduling Coordinator

Cindy graduated from OAHS and furthered her education to graduate from Gogebic Community College.  She joined the Strong Dental Center staff over 20 years ago.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, time at the beach in the summer, and watching hockey in the winter. 

Holly – Insurance and Finance Coordinator

Holly started in the dental field in 1998.  She graduated from Northern Michigan University in 2004 and returned to Ontonagon where she resides with her husband and two children.  She joined our team in 2015.  In her free time she enjoys baking, camping, going to the beach, and spending time with her family and friends. 

Erin – Registered Dental Assistant

Erin was born and raised in White Pine, where she resides with her husband and two children.  She joined our team in 2015.  She recently completed training courses to become a certified and a registered dental assistant.  In her free time she enjoys skiing/snowboarding, hiking, photography, baking, bike riding, and spending time with her family. 

Sara – Dental Assistant

Sara was born and raised in Ontonagon.  She joined our team in 2015 and has been a dental assistant for four years.  In her free time she enjoys golfing, playing softball, volleyball, and dartball.
