Dr. Stoppelbein is known at the office as, “Dr. Bill.” He has had the pleasure of providing dental care to the great people of Eastern NC for thirty years. Dr. Bill decided to be a dentist when he studied careers in fourth grade. After finishing high school in Charlotte, NC, he attended UNC Chapel Hill for undergraduate work and ultimately received his Masters in Public Health as well as his Dental Degree.
Since moving to Eastern NC, Dr. Bill has become a beach enthusiast and enjoys kayaking, boating, and fishing. As a sports fan, he can’t wait for ACC basketball season to start. When it’s warm he can be found on a local golf course trying to find his golf ball.
He is blessed with a wonderful wife, Renee, a teenage son and a married daughter with a beautiful granddaughter. Dr. Bill has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and regularly attends continuing education to keep up the latest trends in dentistry.
Dr. Hardison received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from East Carolina University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He continued his education to become a dentist by attending UNC Chapel Hill to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery with Distinction.
He was raised here in Warsaw, NC and is thankful and grateful for the opportunity to come home to practice dentistry. Dr. Hardison enjoys seeing his patients throughout the day that he has known his entire life. Dr. Hardison is a member of the NC Dental Society and the American Dental Association. He is also a deacon at Grove Park Baptist Church in Clinton, NC.
Dr. Hardison is married to his wife, Stacey, and they have two children: a son, Eli, and a daughter, Eve Bradlee. He is a sports aficionado and enjoys helping coach his children’s recreation soccer and baseball teams. Together they enjoy going to the beach, the mountains, and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Burgette was born and raised in Kenansville, NC. After graduating from James Kenan High School (Go Tigers!) she continued her education at North Carolina State University where she obtained a B. S. in Science Education, Cum Laude, as well as a Masters in Zoology. Dr. Burgette then followed her dream to become a dentist by attending East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine.
During her study she was afforded the chance to travel to the Dominican Republic with fellow dentists and dental students as part of the Dominican Dental Mission Project to improve the oral health of their underserved population. Dr. Burgette graduated from East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine in 2016.
Growing up in a small town she always knew she wanted to come back home to practice dentistry. Dr. Burgette enjoys the small-town, family atmosphere and hopes to provide that same familiarity and comfort to her patients. She currently resides in Kenansville, NC with her husband, David, their son, Brody, their daughter, Julia and their two puppies, Deek and Wrigley.
When not in the office she enjoys gardening and spending time at the beach with family and friends. Dr. Burgette is a member of the North Carolina Dental Society and the American Dental Association. She loves all aspects of dentistry, but thoroughly enjoys the pediatric population. It is her belief that an early foundation of good oral health and hygiene can make for more positive dispositions regarding the dentist.
