Dental Staff

Dr. Li has been the lead dentist at the Kentlands Family Dentistry since August 2016. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine, at the top of the 2009 class. After graduation, Dr. Li practiced general dentistry in Philadelphia and San Diego. In 2015, she moved to Maryland and has since practiced dentistry in the Rockville and North Potomac area.   

Dr. Li is renowned for her experience, passion and skill in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. She strongly believes in providing the highest standards of dental care to her patients, as they should expect. Dr. Li has stayed current with the most recent advances in Dental Medicine, spending well over 200 hours each year attending continuing education courses and clinics. She is the Certified Invisalign Provider, and the recipient of the 2017 Outstanding Achievement Certificate from DIO Dental Implant Academy. She is trained with the McGann postgraduate school of dentistry to provide comprehensive orthodontic treatment to her patients.

Dr. Li is passionate and loyal to each and every patient she meets. She has always found her greatest satisfaction in helping her patients achieve healthy, beautiful, and long last smiles. 

A native of Beijing, China, Dr. Li studied Dentistry at the Capital University of Medical Sciences in Beijing and practiced general and cosmetic dentistry in China before coming to the US.

With over 15 years of experience as a dental assistant, Monica makes our patients experience as easy and stress-free as possible. She received her Maryland State dental x-ray certification in 2004 and has worked at Kentlands Family Dentistry since 2006. She is dedicated in building a relationship with each patient and their families by staying up-to-date with the newest and best technology in order to assist Dr. Li in bringing optimal oral health and a great smile for life!  She speaks fluent English and Spanish.

With over 20 years of experience as a registered hygienist, Erica takes great pride in giving each patient individualized care and all the information necessary to keep their teeth healthy and with the best looking smile. She received her RDH certification from Allegheny Community College in 2003. She's a huge Baltimore Ravens fan. She enjoys spending time with her 3 children and traveling.

Ruby is dedicated to helping patients with every step of their dental visit from making patients feel comfortable, scheduling their appointments, understanding their dental treatment plans, to processing their insurance claims and estimates. Providing over 12 years of experience in the dental field as a dental assistant and administrative coordinator. Ruby is fluent in English and Spanish, and enjoys traveling and learning about diverse cultures through their cuisines and history.
