The Ecuadent Foundation graciously accepts and encourages donations year round.

Times and have changed and so have we, in an attempt to make the donation experience more efficient for everyone. We now have a donation outlet on Mightycause that gives the donor more options. One essential feature of this platform is the option to set your donation to "donate monthly." Please consider setting up a monthly donation. It will greatly impact Ecuadent and help us fundraise throughout the event instead of relying on specific events or times of the year. It will also keep you more attentive to happenings and news from the foundation. Please consider making a donation to help a child in need and spread the word to family, friends, colleagues, etc. Your donation goes a long way and we appreciate every cent for allowing us to continue our humanitarian work in Ecuador.

Medical & Dental Equipment

If you are a dental or medical practitioner and you have working equipment that you no longer need, Ecuadent will accept your equipment donations. Ecuadent has the ability to transport large equipment to Ecuador via land-sea containers. Equipment donations are either implemented into our current dental and medical services or they are redistributed and donated to serve the public in underprivileged Ecuadorian hospitals and clinics. As always, your contribution is tax-deductible and Ecuadent will provide all donors with a letter acknowledging receipt of their donation.

There are several important items to address prior to accepting a donation of this type. Please read the following items carefully then reach out to us because we must comply with US medical and dental equipment standards of quality and ensure that the equipment will function properly in Ecuador.

1. Please send us pictures of your proposed donation.

2. What are the manufacturer, year, and model number of this equipment?

3. Do you possess original paperwork, operating manuals, service records for the equipment?

4. If the equipment has been rebuilt or received any extensive repair work, has it been certified?

Children’s Toy, Clothing and Stroller Drop-Off

You can also support the Ecuadent Foundation’s missions by donating gently used, new, like-new children’s toys, clothing and strollers to one of our two drop-off locations. We give each surgical patient a stuffed animal before they undergo their procedure. They wake up with this animal by their side to comfort them, and they hold on to this animal long after their scars have healed. We also give a small toy to each dental patient we see. Often times, the toy they choose is the only toy they own. We strive to make our missions as pleasant as possible for our patients.
