The Manickas family started practicing dentistry on Massachusetts Avenue in Lexington in 1960. We are a well-established family practice with the additional unique specialty of Prosthodontics. Our practice is centered on our patients and our commitment to providing them the highest qualitypreventive and restorative dental care. We educate our patients to develop healthy dental habits, and establish good oral hygiene leading to a lifetime of overall wellness.  Our general practice provides a complete range of dental treatments for patients of all ages. We focus on preventive dentistry; with a strong dental hygiene team to help our patients achieve a lifetime of excellent oral health.

Please remember, dental insurance is a contract between you, your employer, and the insurance company. Our staff is available to lend assistance and helpful tips in speaking with your insurance company, however, we highly recommend you contact your dental insurance company directly with specific questions regarding your benefits.

We will accept most all other dental insurance plans as out of network providers. Please note that we are not accepting Mass Health or HMO/DMO dental plans at this time.

Fees and Services

Our fees are based on the overhead involved in our practice, the treatment plan selected, and the time it takes us to provide you with the necessary dental care. We do not believe it is in either of our best interests for us to compromise our recommended treatment in order to accommodate an insurance program’s maximum benefits that may be considerably less than optimal. However, we are more than happy to discuss a treatment plan’s advantages and disadvantages with you, thereby involving you, rather than the insurance company, in the decision-making process.

We also offer several methods of payment that are designed to help you receive the highest quality of dentistry that you deserve. Please feel free to ask any staff member if there is anything we can do to assist.

Payment Options

The staff and Doctors of Lexington Implant & Restorative Dentistry are aware and sensitive of the financial hardships in today's economy. We offer several payment solutions that will accommodate the new economic needs of patients. We hope our payment options will allow our patients to choose the one that best fits their lifestyle and financial needs.

We accept most forms of payment including cash and checks. We also accept MasterCard and VISA; and offer Citi Health Care and CareCredit financing (endorsed by the ADA).

In some cases, you may also arrange a personal payment plan with our office manager. All payment plans are free of interest charges.

Facilities and Equipment

At Lexington Implant & Restorative Dentistry, we are proud to have a laboratory on premises supplemented with the use of outside selected laboratories used for more complex and extensive restorative procedures.This allows us maximum control over the quality of your dental restorations. The dental lab specialists we work with are the masters in their fields. Our doctors, staff, lab technicians and other specialists work together as your dental team to help achieve a common goal...excellent dental care for your comfort, well-being, and satisfaction.
