During my exam and cleaning they noticed some problem areas. After I go to check out, I was offered to hang out and get them taken care of. Spent a total of an hour and a half there and was taken care of great. Great rates too!

She was nice and did a really thorough job on my teeth, but it seemed like she took longer than my usual appointments. Maybe my teeth were extra dirty, but i was in the chair for almost an hour just for the cleaning. I did have a cavity so it is possible this experience is more my fault than hers. We did not talk at all, so I really do not know what I should do to improve the experience next time.

She was very courteous and explained things thoroughly. She made sure my insurance covered the proposed treatments and that I was ok with them before she did the treatments. She was also very gentle on the gums while cleaning and flossing.

The front desk ladies are always so nice and helpful too. I love the service here.

I was in a lot of pain and was told to make an appointment for next week NO PAIN MEDICINE NO ANTIBIOTICS... I made an appointment 3 hours later with a different dentist. They gave me antibiotics and "Pain" medicine.

The doctor was considerate and honored my request to not have numbing shots to take out an old filling and put in a new one. He stopped and checked with me a few times to make sure I was ok. When I felt a zing a few times, he stopped and used a different tool to work on it a little at a time.

I am terrified of going to the dentist. I had a horrid experience years ago with someone that left me in tears. I couldn’t get myself to go back, I finally did and I chose Canyon Gate Dental. I was so scared, but all’s they did was treat me so sweet and caring. They gave a tour of the whole place and informed me on everything they were doing. I felt safe and calm the whole time. It was truly better than any visit I have had with anyone else. Thank you all so much.

Everyone there is so sweet and friendly. Every time I go I feel like I’ve known all of the staff forever, they make me feel very comfortable and are all easy to talk to. They’re fast and professional but I don’t feel like just another face that they’re trying to rush out the door. My 5 year old daughter absolutely loves it there and looks forward to her cleanings too.

Hailee was great!!! I'm fresh out of Dental Hygiene school and so it's always such a cool experience to have such a good example of the type of hygienist I want to be for my patients!!! I have the same great experience everytime I go. Dr. A is always so friendly, kind, and sincerely caring.

I RECEIVED A TEETH WHITENING PACKAGE AND WAS STATED THE VALUE WAS "OVER $300," AND WHEN BIDDING FOR IT AT THE FUNDRAISER WHERE I PURCHASED ASKED SPECIFICALLY IF IT WAS FOR THE "ZOOM." I WAS NOTIFIED IT WAS AND WAS SO EXCITED BECAUSE I NOT ONLY WANTED TO USE THE SERVICE FOR THE TEETH WHITENING BUT ALSO WAS LOOKING AT FINDING A DENTIST IN THE AREA. WHEN ARRIVED I WAS BROUGHT BACK INTO THE ONE OF THE ASSESSMENT ROOMS AND EXAMINED BY A DENTIST. I THEN HAD MOLDING DONE OF MY TEETH WAS CONCERNING TO ME WITH HAVING ZOOM BEFORE AND NOT HAVING TO DO MOLDING. WHEN MOLDING DONE I ASKED WHEN I WOULD GET TO DO THE ZOOM AND WAS NOTIFIED BY ONE OF THE TECHS THAT THE SERVICE WAS FOR THE HOME TEETH WHITENING PACKAGE. I WAS EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS AND NOTIFIED THE TECH WHAT MY EXPECTATIONS WERE AND WAS NOTIFIED "THE OTHER PERSON THAT HAD THIS THOUGHT THE SAME THING." I THEN LEFT THE OFFICE AND WAS TOLD I WOULD BE CALLED WHEN MY MOLDINGS WERE READY AND STILL TO DATE HAVE NOT BEEN CALLED OR HAVE MY MOLDINGS. FROM MY FIRST IMPRESSION OF THE OFFICE TO TODAY'S DATE IS DRASTICALLY DIFFERENT AND AM NOT PLEASED WITH HOW THIS ALL WAS HANDLED.

Dr Adams was always relaxed and calm and explained what he was going to do before doing anything. When removing an old filling and decay below, he was sensitive to any discomfort and made sure additional numbing took place.

Hailee was beyond professional while still being causal enough to put my anxieties about the dentist to rest. She worked quickly, efficiently, and didn't waste time. Going to the dentist is not fun for a lot of people but she made it pleasant and eased any fears I had as soon as they arose. She really deserves recognition.

I am so obsessed with Canyon Gate Dental. I, myself, am a future dental hygienist in the making and it's so refreshing coming into that office. I don't think the hygienists will ever know how much I look up to then. I honestly had the weirdest experience here. I called and made an appointment as a new patient, after I had a filling done at my old dentist's office that was really hurting. My old dentist was out of town for a while, and the pain was too bad to wait. I was frustrated with my old dentist, and I was going to switch and stay with Canyon Gate. Called and made the appt, told the receptionist what was going on, and that I thought I may need a root canal. Fast forward to my appointment. The technician girl was very nice, and gave me a tour of the office (which when you're in extreme pain, you really don't care about, you just want to get to your appointment). Then one of the receptionists comes in (her name is KATHY) to ask me a few questions, and then she honest to god told me, that they really didn't have time for me this week, and how lucky I was to even get in, because it's spring break or something, and that they won't have time to fix my tooth. Okay what? I made an appointment. As a patient. And you're telling me NOW when I get in that you don't have time for me? If you don't have time for your patients please don't schedule appointments for them. She then tells me it's because I have a regular dentist and they don't want to "steal" patients. Like I'm not an adult that can decide where to get me healthcare from. I could tell they wanted to rush me out as soon as possible. Dentist comes in, he thinks the bite on my filling is off (which I was certain in wasn't, but whatever, he's the dentist, but I can tell he doesn't want to do any procedures) so he proceeds to file the filling down with NO anesthetic, nothing to numb the pain. And big surprise, he made it hurt 100 times more by doing that. He kind of looks at me writhing in pain for a bit until I ask if I can have something for the pain. He then says "well if it hurts that bad it's probably going to need a root canal, and all I can do today is a partial" GREAT. THAT'S WHAT I WANTED. Thank god he did it, but I don't think he gave me enough pain killer, as by the time I made it to the front desk the pain was back again. When I check out I am asked if I would like to make a follow up appointment to finish the root canal. Well yeah, I would. But as I open my mouth to say so KATHY RUDELY interrupts me to tell me that I won't be able to get in FOR A LONG TIME. Like what, never? Trust me, I got the hint that I wasn't welcome there. So no follow up appointment. Ended up going to North College dental where they were more than happy to accept me as a patient and actually made time for me during my appointment. My experience at Canyon Gate was unpleasant and very weird. Kathy was extremely rude to me, made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I have told everyone about my negative experience... It took me a long time to give this review, as I would get upset thinking about it. But here you go. Try to make ALL your paying customers feel like they are welcome. Might go a long way.

Hi,

My experience was not the best. When I asked the dentist if he could prescribe pain reliever and he asked what? I stated that the last time I was in this office getting a similar procedure the dentist prescribed Norcos they helped me through my pain and that is what I would request for this procedure. He stated that was an over kill and we kind of bantered back and fourth for a few moments. I suffered tremendously for that entire evening after the procedure. I am still hurting and I would like to know that if Norco's are an over kill per the dentist, then why does it hurt so bad and the Norco 5's that he reluctantly prescribed did not take away the pain. So why does it hurt so bad? I would love to have the dentist from yesterday answer that question. The two times I have been into this office have been an over thousand dollar trip. The next visit I have with you I will only be seen by the original dentist from the first trip, or I will have to go elsewhere.

The care of the patient is not priority. If you're ok with selective polishing, ( they only polish your front teeth), being pushed to bring in new patients, and not be able to have a relationship with your hygenist, this is the place for you.

The care of the patient is not priority. If you're ok with selective polishing, ( they only polish your front teeth), being pushed to bring in new patients, and not be able to have a relationship with your hygenist, this is the place for you.

I guess my expectations was to high. I needed to reschedule due to it had taken an hour just to get x-rays, and had not even started on cleaning of teeth. Went to reschedule for cleaning, which was 1-3 plus months out..... Not to mention, not one comment of my chipped tooth. I finally question on if they had noticed my tooth. Oh and they were to take an impression for the free whitning, which I was eligible for, and that was not even done.... I didn't even get a toothbrush and gloss! But I did get a coffee cup...... Sorry, I guess I just expected to much.

I was quoted a certain price and when I was over charged I was told I was wrong. I will never recommend this place. I didn't even feel as though my teeth were clean after. I was very disappointed.

I have been terrified of going to the dentist because I hadn't been to one in 13 years. I was afraid of getting scolded, mostly. HOWEVER...not a single person made a mention about it after I had said it and I had THE friendliest DA and DH and DR. Even the front desk ladies were exceptionally nice!! The staff was nice and friendly. I was only in the waiting room for a few minutes before I was taken back to my the dental chair. The Dental Hygienist was nice and kind and explained what she was doing with my teeth as she cleaned them. The room had a TV that you could watch while laying back as the hygienist did her work. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist in the area.

I love the staff. The Dr is great. They explained everything so you understood what the plan was for your teeth. I was bummed because I called about their deal on the radio and having a 50.00 gift card and was told I could use both but at the end of the appt I was told I could only use one or the other. Other than that this place is great.

Got to the office at my scheduled time and was taken right back. Dr Adams spoke to me about what he was going to do and then took before and after photos to ensure I left with exactly what I was asking for. Not only is the staff very friendly but the procedure itself was extremely fast and painless

Dr. Adams and his staff took extra good care of me as always. I had to have an unexpected root canal and they were able to squeeze me right in so I didn't have to go another day in pain. LOVE THIS DENTAL OFFICE! Can't imagine going anywhere else:)

I recently had my teeth whitened on Dec. 18th, 2014. As stated, the process took approximately 1 hr. and 45 mins. My specialist was very good at what she does, always asking if all was all right with me, showed me pictures of improvement during the process and final results. I am really happy with the results, I smile more now!

They are FANTASTIC! I'm new to the area and had a dental problem on a Monday morning. They got me in that afternoon and the little problem turned out to be not so little :( They spent 4 hours fixing my problem and making my smile return; better than it was before, for an upcoming wedding I was to take part in. I have always been scared of going to the dentist and I am not just saying this; I felt NO PAIN and the work Dr. Adams had to do was extensive. I can not say enough good things about Canyon Gate Dental and I will and have recommended them to everyone! Thank You!

Canyon Gate is a very friendly and welcoming dental office. I felt right at ease when I entered the office. Everyone was smiling and very committed to my comfort and lack of pain. The chairs were extremely comfortable with nice TV's mounted above to help pass the time between procedures. I feel like I've "hit the jackpot" as far as dentists go.
