Dental Staff

Dr. Eric Citron has been practicing dentistry since 1985 and is a graduate of the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. He attends numerous continuing education classes each year to learn about the latest advances in dentistry. His goal is to raise your oral health to a state of excellence and then to have you maintain that condition through good home care and routine maintenance. He is a member of the Berkeley Dental Society, the California Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Citron is also a 1981 alumnus of UC Berkeley and is emotionally invested in Cal athletics. In his free time you will find him running, gardening, watching TV and movies, listening to music, pontificating on current events and politics, cooking, enjoying food & wine, or just hanging out with his family

Dr. Steven Wong joined our team in 2023 after earning his doctorate at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine and completing additional training through residency at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. He keeps up to date with the latest dental technology and materials by attending dental conferences, continuing education courses, and by being a member of the California Dental Association and American Dental Association. He is extremely passionate about dentistry, the work he provides, and treating each patient as if they are his own family member. 

On his free time Steven enjoys living an active lifestyle whether it is hiking with his Shiba Inu, snowboarding in Lake Tahoe, or playing basketball.

For over ten years Sonja has been responsible for the smooth daily operation of the office. Answering the telephone, scheduling appointments, balancing the books, dealing with insurance issues, triaging dental emergencies, or simply providing friendly conversation with patients are among the varied tasks Sonja handles with aplomb.

Sonja counts food and wine, movies, music, art, family and friends among her varied interests. Also an Oakland native, she enjoys time spent with her two daughters and grandson.

Chloe has been assisting Dr. Citron for eighteen years. In addition to providing an extra pair of hands during dental procedures or taking x-rays, Chloe is resposible for monitoring OSHA's blood-borne pathogens standard, and infection control. She also keeps our dental supply shelves stocked and current. When called upon, Chloe's voice may also be heard answering the telephone.

Chloe was raised in Oakland and still resides in the neighborhood she grew up in. She is very involved with the Native American community and Aztec culture and dance. Often you will find Chloe cheering for her daughter's high school volleyball team.

Monica received her DA Certification from Carrington College. She was born and raised in Oakland. Some of her hobbies consist of reading, listening to music, and drawing/painting. My name is Michelle, I'm 21 years old . I went to Carrington College for my DA program. I like to go shopping on my free time. I also enjoy traveling and seeing new places.
