Dr. Diaz-Norrman has over 25 years in Periodontics and have been a visiting faculty instructor at UF since 1990.
Dr. Diaz-Norrman has been in private practice since 1987 specializing in periodontics/implants in the Westchester area of Miami. Dr. Diaz-Norrman has over 25 years experience in Periodontics. Aside of being in private practice he was a Clinical instructor, visiting faculty University of Florida Department of periodontics at L.D. Pankey Institute from 1987-1990 Clinical and Didactic Instructor General practice residency program at Jackson Memorial Hospital Department of oral and maxillofacial surgery University of Miami, as well as Clinical Professor at University of Florida undergraduate students and residency programs.
Dr Diaz-Norrman graduated at U.C.E. Dominican Republic in 1981. He completed his Internship in general practice residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital Department of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at the University of Miami. His general practice residency was at the University of Miami, and 1983-1984 he also completed his teaching fellowship in General Practice Dentistry at University of Miami. Dr. Diaz-Norrman’s post graduate residency in Periodontics, was at the University of Florida- Gainesville from 1984-1986 and Osseous Integrated Dental Implants training program in 1994 at UM School of Medicine.
1988 to present, Dr Diaz-Norrman has been a Member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, local associations member of CEOlA, HELO WDDS and past president of CEOLA. Since 1997 he has shared his knowledge as Clinical Professor at University of Florida International Student and residency program in 1999-2000 he was Secretary of West Dade Dental Society. Dr. Diaz-Norrman is happily married to his wife Lizzette, who is also an integral part of his private practice. Together they have four adult children, one grandson and twin granddaughters.
