Learn Who We Are

  • Dr.
    Jay R. Davidson

    Dr. Jay R. Davidson in a native of Nebraska, in 1978 he graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University and in 1983 graduated from the University Of Nebraska Medical Center College Of Dentistry. In 1983 Dr. Davidson opened a private practice in Flint Michigan. His wife, Beverly, was recruited to Iowa City and the couple soon moved and in 1995 he joined the staff of Towncrest Dental Office.Dr. Davidson believes in giving back to the community and has been a participating doctor in the Donated Dental Program for many years.Dr. Davison is a member of the American Dental Association, Iowa State Dental Association, Johnson County District Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and Pierre Fauchard Academy.

  • Dr. Jennifer R.M. Ballard

    Dr. Jennifer R.M. Ballard graduated in 1990 from the University Of Iowa with a B.S. in Psychology. She is a 1996 graduate of The University of Iowa College of Dentistry. She went on to complete a one-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry.Prior to joining the team at Towncrest Dental Dr. Ballard practiced nine years in Cedar Rapids and four in Solon. Dr. Ballard's philosophy is 'To provide the best possible dental care in a comfortable environment, offering compassion, empathy, and the ability to listen.'Dr. Ballard is a member of the American Dental Association, Iowa State Dental Association, Johnson County Dental Society, University District Dental Society.

    Brian Andersen

    Dr. Brian Andersen is from Marion Iowa. He attended University of Northern Iowa earning a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Spanish and a Masters in Environmental Technology. He competed his dental training at The University of Iowa College of Dentistry. 

    Dr. Andersen believes in delivering excellent dental care while continuously striving to make the experience comfortable and positive for all ages. Dr. Andersen enjoys the never-ending challenge to customize care for his patient’s

    He has been married since 2002 and has three children. Dr. Andersen enjoys nature, being outside, and coaching youth sports. Dentistry has inspired him by allowing him to develop personal relationships with his team, patients and the community he serves.
