I think everyone I met on June 7, 2022, was very professional, nice, and made me feel like I have always been a patient there, even though it was my first visit.  My hygienist was very nice.  She went over my x-rays with me and explained what they are looking for.  I have periodontal disease.  Noelle and Dr. Barth gave me good advise to help me keep my teeth healthier.  I had a very relaxing experience.

This was an emergency appt because I developed a toothache.  Dr. Barth was away, so Dr. Layne saw me.  Both he and his assistant were excellent!  He explained how he thought I needed to have several teeth removed that were causing pain.  Also, some teeth were just too far decayed to try and save.  I completely agreed with him because of the toothache and how Dr. Layne explained everything.  I very much liked how Dr. Layne took the time to explain this different approach to my dental needs.  I have seen both doctors and I was very pleased with both of them.  They both took time and did a very thorough job explaining my dental needs.  Also, both of their assistants were very pleasant and thoughtful.  I was very pleased with my care.  Although this was an emergency visit, I never felt rushed.  My appointment was handled with great respect and consideration for my comfort.  I would definitely recommend this dental practice to my friends and family.

Good morning!  I would love to review my experience with Dr. Layne and assistant Whitney.  Both were very professional, polite, and courteous.  First impressions are often reflective of the day to day workings of (in this case) a dental office.  Both Dr. Layne and Whitney made me feel at ease with the emergency care I needed.  I felt no pain during the care I received.  I would recommend this practice to anyone needing preventive as well as emergency dental care.  Thank you both for the care I received.

My hygienist was the best!  No need for changes!  The staff is professional, friendly, and attentive.  The electricity went out (city wide outage) while I was there, but my hygienist didn't miss a beat.  She got a head lamp and finished cleaning my teeth.  Dr. Barth also completed his examination and took time to answer my questions.  My visit was pleasant and I highly recommend Layne and Barth Family Dentistry.

I think everyone is great and they always meet my needs.  I don't see a need for improvement.  It's a great environment.  I love my dentist office!  I've been going here for many years and don't plan on ever leaving.  I've had different hygienists and sometimes the same ones and I love them all.  I've never had an issue with anyone.  Dr. Layne is a great dentist.  Always makes me feel comfortable and explains any questions I ever have.  I highly recommend this office!

Koree always does a great job!  Layne and Barth Family Dentistry is very family friendly!  All of their hygienists, office staff, and dentists are friendly and do a great job.  I have never had to wait more than a few minutes for my appointment or my kids' appointments.  They work hard to stay on time so there is no hurry up and wait like a lot of doctor offices.  I have never felt rushed when I have questions or need explanations when work needed to be done.  I have never been disappointed in the years that I have been a patient.

 Be sure to check with an insurance specialist at Layne & Barth to verify your insurance coverage.  The first person that I spoke with told me that my medicare advantage was not in network.  Jessica, insurance specialist, had a phone conversation with me before my appointment and checked to make sure it was in network. 

The hygienist thoroughly cleaned my teeth and checked my gums.  Dr. Layne also checked for any problem areas.  I had a good report.

Prior to the appointment, the telephone call advised of a change for up to date procedures in place for COVID-19.  The reception staff was very cordial at arrival and processed each patient with clear information about the procedure.  Patients were masked and seated appropriately.  The hygienist took me back within a few minutes and completed the cleaning quickly and professionally.   The check out staff was very helpful and kind.

The only comment I will make on another appointment I had back a few months ago is I waited almost 1.5 hours because patient care took longer than usual.  I had to leave because I had another appointment to keep.  That being said, I know emergencies arise beyond anyone's control.  Overall the staff is very professional and courteous every time I have been at an appointment.  Dr. Barth has a Great Staff to serve the needs of our community.  One thing that could be added is a guest Wi-Fi connection while waiting in the lobby.

L&B Response - We strive to run on time. We routinely call patients back pretty close to (and sometimes even BEFORE) their appointment time .  Your wait was actually 20 minutes past your scheduled appointment.  We do apologize for the wait and very much appreciate your patience and understanding.

All great.  Professional office environment, yet home cozy feeling.  Sticker on window advised that if you have been waiting in lobby for more than 15 minutes notify them.  Let me tell you, I was 5th or 6th one in lobby arriving and in 5 minutes they came and got me for my appointment.  Everyone that was waiting before me had already been taken in before me.  When was the last time you made an appointment with any medical establishment and was serviced so quickly?  NEVER.  The dentist was friendly and professional, and advised me how to best go about treating my initial problem as well as for the future.  Place you can trust and prices were great.  Worth the travel.

Dr. Nic and the dental assistant (I shamefully do not remember her name) were AMAZING.  Made us feel very comfortable through the process and were truthfully quite entertaining.  All of the staff were very friendly.  Wait time was nil.  The whole appointment lasted about 40 minutes and included x-rays, consult, and 3 fillings on my 6 year old.  We will never go anywhere else again.  I wish there were more stars to give.  I am so thankful that this practice was recommended to me by a workmate.

It was a great visit. They made great accommodations for such a crazy post-storm (Hurricane Michael) time. After missing my appointment due to Hurricane Michael, the staff worked with me to get in as soon as possible. Once at the office after work, I was able to brush my teeth with a toothbrush provided by the office. Once the cleaning and checking was proceeding, due to my phobia of things in my mouth and sinus issues from the storm, the dental hygienist was great and understanding. Glad to have a good check up!!

I am that true "Dental Phobic", and it took me 10 years to step into another dental office. . .but EVERYONE at this office, from front receptionist to assistant to Dr. Barth were great. Dr. Barth has changed my way of thinking, unfortunately too late for me to save my teeth. But I have recommended this office to my daughter who is also dental phobic. Dr. Layne and the Staff put you at ease when you walk in. Dr. Layne always talks a couple of minutes before talking about your teeth. It always relaxes me. He asks if you have any new problems before starting to work. He explains what he is going to do. I have had two emergencies. I called after hours and he came to fix my problem. He works you in during normal hours if you have an emergency. He is the BEST!

The tooth I had pulled was my third but the first one at THIS office. I will never go anywhere else even if the price is lower. I have had a dry socket with both of my other two teeth that have been pulled no matter what I did to keep it from happening. DON'T CHANGE A THING!!! My experience was perfect.

I went to see my new dentist yesterday, walked in, was handed paperwork to fill out and greeted by a very nice lady. I filled out the paperwork and turned it in. A few minutes later they called me back and seated me in the room. The office was very clean and had lots of new tech toys; the digital x-ray was super cool as well as the full mouth x-ray. It didn't take as long as it used to at my old dentist's office. Fast and painless. Then my new dentist, Dr. Gregg, came in, sat down, and had a great talk with me about how I wanted to proceed and gave me all my options. He was really very knowledgeable and was able to explain all my options so I could understand the different procedures available. I've never had a Dr. go that deep into explaining it where I understood the whole procedure. I really enjoyed it and believe me, this is the first time I have ever enjoyed going to the dentist. Thank you.

Sadly, I did not catch names. The two ladies at the front desk were extremely friendly. The lady that cleaned my teeth, (left out of lobby door into hallway, last door on right) was extremely friendly and had a great bedside manner. The entire staff was amazing! Everyone was happy and friendly to me, my wife, and kids. My four-year old looks forward to getting her teeth cleaned because the staff is so friendly and she got a princess sticker!  This is the most amazing dentist office ever!!! The building looks like a log cabin. The lobby is clean and inviting, complete with a nature video and a nice clean and organized children's play area. The "let us know if you wait more than 15 minutes past your scheduled appointment" sign in the lobby is a mark of great customer service. It is considered the norm to wait for a long time at dentist offices, but not here! Every time my family and I get right in. They work with us taking turns to allow my wife and I to watch our 2 and 4 year old girls, who by the way love it here because all of the staff talk to them and even gave them stickers. The ladies at the front desk are extremely friendly and are knowledgeable on dental insurance and billing. They are focused on making sure you understand your options and requirements. They obviously care that you know about your plan and want you to understand everything. I saw Dr Barth last time and Dr Layne the time before, both are top notch. They have amazing bedside manner and are passionate about your health and comfort. My wife loves that there was a blanket in the room because she is cold-natured and I liked the music in the room it was soothing. The hygienist, I think her name is Ruth was extremely friendly, very helpful, and thorough. I drive an hour to this dentistry because of their amazing customer service and commitment to excellence. I trust them and will refer everyone I know to them!

The Dr I had was nice. He explained everything that was going to happen And answered all of the questions. The nurse that helped him was very understanding about the pain and discomfort I was experiencing and asked frequently if I was feeling any discomfort turning the extraction. The only thing I would like to see happen to make me more comfortable is that being that I am short the head rest really didn't do any good. Maybe something can be changed there or an addition made? Thank you all for the very polite service.

It has been years since I have been back at this practice. They have always been wonderful and courtesy. I can't be more thankful to them for making me feel right at home. From the front desk to the dentist chair. Everyone is very nice and accommodating.

Dr. Barth and Dr. Layne are both caring, courteous and wonderful professionals. The assistants that aided both, I'm terrible with names, were also excellent people. The receptionists are lovely ladies who do quite well at their jobs. I can think of nothing that would improve upon my visits since mine were perfectly fine and I was very comfortable.  Layne Family Dentistry treated me with dignity and respect. They ensured my pain was minimal at all times, even after my visit. Everyone one of them is very down to Earth and personable. As odd as this sounds, I actually enjoyed going to the Dentist! I hope you'll give Layne Family Dentistry a try because I'm certain you'll feel the same.

If being treated with respect and professionalism is something you appreciate, this dental practice rates at the top. In addition, the staff seemed interested in my dental needs and I sensed they were all very skilled in the job they do. It was my first visit to this practice,since my last dentist retired, but it will certainly not be my last. Dr. Barth and all the staff receive the highest of ratings from me.

As always, I was seen very quickly! I called at 9:00 am with a toothache and was scheduled for an appointment right away. I arrived at 10:30 am and was seen within 10 minutes. The staff were all very friendly and my toothache was taken care of within 30 minutes after being called back! I've always dreaded going to the dentist but since becoming a patient at Laynes family dentistry I never dread my visits!

Rather cold in the waiting room, but wasn't there but a couple of minutes. Great group of professionals. Included me in my further dental plans, didn't just state what had to be. I can plan around my finances that way.

We just moved here about a year ago and I didn't know anyone. You were recommended by my cousin, Janice. Everyone treated me like they have known me forever. Thank you for getting me in the same day that I called. I called with a problem around 3 o'clock and I was a new patient and you got me in by 4 o'clock. Everyone was very courteous and friendly. Everyone (and yes, I mean every single person in the office from the office staff to the dental assistant to Dr. Layne) is ALWAYS friendly and thoughtful when I come in for a check-up. Also, Mrs. Eberly is professional and thorough in her work and both her and Dr. Layne do a great job in explaining what is going on. I would recommend anyone going to their office for dental check-ups.
