Restorative Dentistry

Restorative dentistry is about restoring your mouth to a more functional and aesthetic condition and includes procedures such as bridges, bonding, and white filling, crowns, inlays, onlays, and dentures.

Bridges are an oral device that fills the gap left by a missing tooth or teeth. A dental bridge is custom-fit to your mouth and attaches to the existing teeth on either side of the gap.

Bonding and white filling are used when a tooth is stained, cracked, or decayed. It is an easy, one-day procedure that quickly restores the damaged tooth to look like new.

Crowns are used when a tooth is too decayed or cracked to respond well to bonding or white filling. A crown will provide durability and enhance the appearance of the damaged tooth. Depending on your needs, we can provide a full porcelain crown, a full gold crown, or porcelain fused to a metal or gold crown.

Inlays and Onlays are partial crowns that are used when there is still some healthy enamel on the tooth. Made of porcelain, gold, metal, or a composite, inlays and onlays are placed on top of the tooth and possibly on the surrounding cuffs, depending on the extent of the damage.

Dentures are teeth replacement devices that can be taken in and out of the mouth at any time. We offer three types of dentures: conventional full dentures, immediate full dentures, and partial dentures. We will work with you to develop a custom set of dentures based on the health of your remaining teeth and your needs.
