What can we do?

Besides eating leftover pizza and occasionally sharing a light joke, many things:

1. FDA approved Shock-wave therapy. The Foot Clinic offers this relatively new technology for persistent  heel pain, Achilles tendonitis, ankle pain, ease bunion pain, etc. We are glad we brought this new technology to Sudbury for the first time when it first came on the market some years ago. We remember when people had to travel all the way to Toronto to get this treatment, and so many of our patients were relieved when we brought this technology to Sudbury...help was here to heal the heel!

2. Two Magnetic with combination Laser units to help heal the foot. Each session lasts 20 minutes, and the fortunate thing is that you can put both feet into the laser unit at once as the unit has multiple laser diodes. Helpful for such things as heel pain, achilles tendonitis, foot strain, bunion pain, pain in the ball of the foot, etc.

3. Two powerful Laser units, FDA and Health Canada approved, with the highest depth of laser penetration on the market presently. Medical Centre Foot Clinic  incorporated these units in order to provide other effective modalities to treat  foot problems, especially heel spurs and plantarfasciitis and pain in the ball of the foot. Why is treatment depth important? A good depth of penetration is needed especially for such things as heel spurs, plantafasciitis, metatarsalgia, so we can get you feeling well in the shortest time possible!

4. FMT...Your Foot Specialist has been honored and feels privileged to have learnt these techniques from few of the best specialists in the world, such as Ted Jedynak ( Australia ) and Dr.Tikker, a 1953 graduate of the Californa College of Podiatric Medicine( USA).

5. Prescribe scheduled oral and topical medications, inject cortisone, do soft tissue foot surgery such as tenotomies and nail sugery, etc.
