Dental Staff

With a background in medical technology, after rearing their 3 daughters, Evonne took the administrative reins of Dr. Cunningham’s business in 1994. Evonne’s organizational skills enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the practice while her love of people is nurtured by the contacts she has with many of Dr. Cunningham’s wonderful patients. Evonne enjoys her job flexibility which allows her time for volunteering at church, friendships, and being “Mam” to their 8 grandchildren. 

Cindy was raised in Phoenix, Az and lived all over the world before settling in Jacksonville in 1986. Having known Cindy from church and as a patient, Dr. Cunningham recruited her in 1998. She initially trained as a dental assistant and served in that role for about four years. At that point, she moved to the front office where her people skills could be maximized. Cindy has a daughter, son-in-law and new granddaughter who live in Nashville, TN. Through her second marriage,Cindy gained a step-son and daughter -in-law who have blessed her with two beautiful grandchildren. Cindy enjoys mystery novels, especially when her chihuahua, Ollie, is curled up beside her. 

Vickie , a Calhoun County native and Jacksonville High School graduate, began her dental career as an assistant with Dr. Cunningham in 1984. In 1992, Vickie completed her dental hygiene education, became a licensed dental hygienist, and since has faithfully and conscientiously served her patients in that capacity. To better serve her patients through advances in science and technology, she regularly participates in continuing education. In addition to her career, Vickie is dedicated to God, her church, and her family. Having been married for 39 plus years, she and her husband, Marlon, experience great pleasure from their daughter, son-in-law, and two grandchildren. 

A 1989 Jacksonville High School graduate, Michelle pursued a nursing degree before joining Dr. Cunningham’s staff as a dental assistant in 2008. Joel, her husband of 30 plus years, and Michelle enjoy raising their two children, Daylon and Jacie. Watching Daylon, a recent graduate of JSU Respiratory Therapy program excel in his new career, and seeing Jacie pursue her love and talent for music and athletics bring them much pleasure. As a dental assistant, Michelle uses her high energy and enthusiasm to provide a comfortable, quality experience for every patient. 

As a Human Resources Specialist for 11 years, Julie’s decision to change to the dental field was easy because she thoroughly enjoys the patient interaction.After working several years as a dental assistant, Julie went back to school to become a licensed dental hygienist. Julie lives in Glencoe with her husband, Kile, and their three children, Jacob, Rylee, and Spencer. In her spare time, she enjoys many outdoor activities, spending time with her family, and Auburn football. 

Mary was born and raised in Pickens County, Alabama. She graduated high school from Jacksonville in 2007. Mary joined our practice in 2014, then completed her schooling and became a registered dental hygienist in 2016. Mary resides in Jacksonville and enjoys her dogs Tucker and Nova.

Lindey was born and raised in White Plains where she graduated in 2010. After completing dental assisting school at UAB in 2013, Lindey joined our team. Lindey also became a registered dental hygienist in 2018.  She enjoys spending time with her daughter Baylynn, who was born in Dec. 2018.

Tasha was born and raised in Gadsden, Alabama where she graduated from Gaston High School in 2007, continued her education at Snead State Community College and earned a B.S. with Honors in marketing from Jacksonville State University. She resides in Southside with her husband, Jeremy and takes pleasure in spending time with family and friends and especially their daughter Tessa and her younger brother Gavin. Tasha has become part of our front desk staff where she can greet everyone with a smile. 

Monica was born and raised in Decatur, AL., where she graduated from West Morgan High School. Monica became a member of our team after she completed the Capstone Dental Assisting Program in 2015. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two children Lawson and Lindley.
