What is a Prosthodontist?

Prosthodontics is a special field of dentistry that focuses primarily on the restoration of missing or damaged teeth. For teeth that have been chipped, cracked or lost due to an accident, extraction or decay, a prosthodontist would be the proper professional to restore your smile. Prosthodontists are specially educated in a wide range of restoration procedures and techniques. They commonly place dental implants, crowns, bridges, veneers, full and partial dentures, as well as other oral prosthetics. When you make your prosthodontist appointment, the focus of your restoration will concern the function and health of your smile as well as its cosmetic appearance.

To become a prosthodontist, a minimum of three additional years of continued dental education is needed. As a result, prosthodontists are widely recognized and respected as the true professionals to seek out when more advanced dental restoration is needed.

COVID-19 Update

In light of the recommendations that came down this weekend regarding the COVID-19 we have made the decision to CLOSE our dental office for anything except emergency treatment for the next two (2) weeks, Monday March 16 through Friday March 2th.

We did not make this decision lightly as we care deeply about the health of our patients and our dental team. But due to the nature of this virus we want to take our social responsibility to abide by the recommendations of our government leaders.
