Peters   Mary M. Peters, DPM, FACFAS 

Dr. Peters comes to Arizona from Illinois. She graduated from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in 2001. After graduation, she furthered her training with residency programs specializing in diabetic footcare, surgery, and pediatrics. She has been practicing in the Phoenix metro area since 2003. Aside from her private office setting, Dr. Peters is also a staff member of Chandler Regional Medical Center, Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, and Banner Ocotillo Medical Center, as well as several outpatient surgical centers.

Dr. Peters is a Certified Foot Surgeon by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, an active member and Past President (2018-2022) of the Arizona Foot and Ankle Medical Association, and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

In her free time, she enjoys running marathons, playing golf, and traveling.


Maben   Frank G. Maben, DPM, FACFAS

Dr. Maben is an Arizona native. Following his graduation from the Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in 2004, he attended a rigorous 3-year residency course at the Tucson VA hospital where he received extended training in trauma, wound care, and rearfoot and ankle pathology. He has been practicing in the East Valley since his residency completion in 2007. In addition to his private practice, he maintains surgical privileges at Chandler Regional Hospital, Mercy Gilbert Hospital, and Center for Advanced Surgery Center.

Dr. Maben is a Board Certified Foot Surgeon by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.


G solo  Vanousheh Ghandhari, DPM, FACFAS 

Dr. Ghandhari is Board Certified in both Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

Dr. Ghandhari specializes in complex revision reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle.  She was trauma trained in foot and ankle surgery and has successfully reconstructed multiple ankle fractures and repaired numerous achilles ruptures. She has repaired many other fractures of the foot and ankle including calcaneal fractures. She also specializes in adult and flat foot reconstruction and bunionectomy.

Dr. Ghandhari completed a rigorous 3-year surgical residency which focused on rearfoot and ankle reconstruction and trauma. She is well versed in all aspects of podiatric surgery including procedures to address biomechanical and structural deformities, heel pain, nerve entrapment, foot and ankle arthralgia, skin and nail conditions, congenital deformities and trauma related injuries. She also received additional certifications in arthroscopic techniques. Her state-of-the-art training provides patients with greater surgical options, including diabetic limb salvage and Charcot reconstruction, minimally invasive techniques, and specialized skin and bone grafting.

Dr. Ghandhari is a highly educated physician with a Masters of Arts in Biomedical Sciences from Midwestern University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Biology from UC Berkeley. She completed her doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at Midwestern University. She completed her surgical training in New Mexico VA healthcare system in Albuquerque, and has additional trauma focused training at Kaiser Foundation North Valley Trauma Hospitals.

Dr. Ghandhari is an active member and President (2022-Present) of the Arizona Foot and Ankle Medical Association, and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.


Naverrete  Ricardo Navarrete Jr, DPM

Dr. Navarrete grew up enjoying outdoor activities in eastern Oregon.  He graduated from Oregon State University with a double degree in Exercise Science and International Studies.  He obtained his Podiatric Medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences College of Podiatric Medicine in Pomona, CA.  Following graduation, he completed extensive medical and surgical training locally in Phoenix, AZ at Maricopa Medical Center/Creighton University.  During his training, he served as chief resident of the podiatric surgery department at a level one trauma center which focused in Forefoot and Rearfoot Reconstruction and Ankle Surgery, and extended training with the Arizona Burn Center. 

Dr. Navarrete is a foot and ankle surgeon specializing in reconstructive surgery, trauma, wound care, limb salvage, sports medicine and arthroscopic procedures.  He is an active member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and an associate of American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

In his free time, he enjoys traveling, playing music and camping with his dog.   Dr. Navarrete is also fluent in Spanish.  His goal is to provide exceptional patient care while considering both conservative and surgical options.  He believes in treating each patient with respect while meeting their needs on an individualized basis.
