Meet Our Staff

Learn Who We Are

  • Terri Lane
    Office Manager/Hygientist/Certified Dental Assistant/

    Terri has over 31 years experience in the dental field. She began as a dental assistant in 1985 and completed her degree in dental hygiene in 1990 from the University of Alabama Birmingham. In 2016, Terri traveled to Dallas, TX for training at The Planmeca University, where she is now trained in the designing and fabrication of same day crowns. She is a great asset to our office and loves the patients and seeing the smiles on their face when their work is completed. She has been married to her husband Randy for 32 years and has 2 boys Blake and Dalton and 1 grandchild Emma. 

  • Melanie Mitchell-Fountian
    Insurance Coordinator

    Melanie has been in the dental field for 38 years. She graduated from The Univeristy of Alabama Birmingham in 1988 in dental hygiene. She joined our team in 2016. When she is not at work she enjoys working in her yard, playing her dogs, and cheering on the crimson tide! She is a great asset to our office and enjoys her time here.

  • Darlene Smith
    Scheduling Coordinator

    Darlene has been in the dental field for 19 years. She joined our practice in 2016. She is a great asset to our office. Patients alway get to see a smiling face when they walk in for their appointment and is greeted by Darlene. She has 6 children, 12 beautiful grandchild, and one exceptional husband! They may also be known as the 'Brady Bunch.' When she is not at work she likes shopping, watching her grandkids play sports, and cheering on the Crimson Tide!

  • Debra Chambers
    Registered Dental Hygienist

    Debra has been in the dental field for for 38 years. She joined our team in 2016. She is a wonderful asset to our team. She always goes the extra mile to make sure her patients get the proper care they need and to make sure they understand what steps need to be taken in dental care. She loves what she does and loves her patients even more! When she is not at work she is trying new restaurant with her friends, watching nascar races, or cheering on the Crimson Tide!

  • Dr Gregory Kennedy

    Dr Kennedy began private practice in Bayou La Batre in 1986. A few years later re relocated just down the road to Grand Bay Dental. Today, he treats patients from cities across the region.
