Meet Dr. Thao Bui-Nguyen

    D.D.S.

    Graduated from Georgetown School of Dentistry in 1990, Dr. Bui has come to Manassas and has practiced at this same office since. Most of her patients are long-term patients: some had been Dr. Thomas Johnson’s since 1975 and have stayed on when Dr. Johnson retired and some had started with Dr. Bui from the beginning of her career. There are many families of 3 generations in the practice, and there are patients that Dr. Bui had treated since they were 3, 4 years old. Her patients have become her family and friends!

    I've been going to Dr. Bui for 16 years and as long as she's practicing, she will be my dentist.  I moved to Manassas in 2000 and made an appointment with her based on a recommendation from a friend of mine.   Dr Bui and her staff were very friendly and always made me feel at home.  In addition to the excellent service she provides, Dr Bui takes an interest in you and genuinely cares about your well being.  That is one of the things that has kept me a loyal patient for so long even though I moved to NE DC in 2010.  Despite the distance, I continue to make the hour drive to Manassas because of the great service and care I receive.  If you are looking for a new dentist, I would highly recommend making an appointment with her.  You will be very glad that you did!

    When we lived in Arlington we had been seeing a dentist over in Maryland, and when we moved to Manassas it got to be a little too far to go so we started looking for a new dentist.  We tried a big corporate place, but they didn't give the personal care.  The doctor came in, did what needed to be done and then billed the bejesus out of us.  There was no time to ask questions about what he was doing or hygiene.

    Dr.Bui is amazing! Over the summer I'd visited a larger corporate dental chain. I was told at that appointment that I needed over $2,000 worth of dental work and left without a cleaning. Fortunately, I decided to get a second opinion. After combing the internet for recommendations I chose Dr. Bui and I'm so glad I did.  After taking the time to look at and properly clean my teeth Dr. Bui determined that I didn't in fact need that much work and my bill would be hundreds not thousands once all was said and done.
